Rolled Fenders - Anyone done this?
Rolling fenders in BMW scene is pretty common to fit ///M offset wheels on non-///M cars.
Seems our offsets are pretty pathetic on the C, so I was curious if anyone has done this to fit a more concave or deeper dish wheel?

There is not much material to roll on our cars & I don't recommend it as the inner shell fender might separate from the outer shell fender which will cause rust in the long run.

I am going to have to take a look. I rolled my BMW myself with ease, I can't imagine these would be much different.
As far as paint cracking, it all depends on the patience of the person doing it and the weather conditions, helps to have a heat gun on hand as well.
And a 1/4" is a lot when talking wheel offsets!

You can definitely roll it, those extra 5-7 MM will help. Especially if you are lowering the car. I will be rolling mine over the winter when the car is stored.
Don't be afraid to roll it, it can be done with a little patience and the right tool. I usually rent mine from the Local tire shop for 40 dollars.

I have never cracked my paint, been rolling my fenders for years now.
Heat gun and patience are your friend.

I rolled the fenders on my M5 with a heat gun and a baseball bat. I actually bought the Eastwood roller but could never get it working right and never bother refunding it because of shipping costs. Still have it somewhere...

I'm not saying it's not doable, just risky. Do it with caution. U can see the welding spots if u look at the fender lip, u don't want to break that "seal" to prevent rust in long run.
In addition, from my experience with rubbing.. It mostly rub on the rear bumper section of the fender lip.. U could shave that off.

I feel you, this car rear offset is so weak it's not even funny. Can't get much concavity with monoblocks or deep dish with multi-pcs.
