I'm getting a heck of a deal in a province that I don't live in. Is it true that I can't use Mercedes Benz Financial Canada in another province or is the sales person full of it? He claims I can only make a cash purchase and not use the low MB finance rate!

You pay the sales tax (HST etc) in the province you register the vehicle in. You either don't pay tax where you buy it if it is shipped out of province or claim a refund after you register it out of province. Your will need a transfer permit if you are driving it to another province.
It may be that MB/MB finance do not condone dealers selling out of territory without a transfer to a selling dealer in the other territory. In that case the dealer cannot set up the financing with MB. It may also have to do with registering the loan and registering the vehicle in the name of MB Finance and the leasee or borrower's name and that will have to be done before the purchaser takes delivery of the vehicle and in the province of purchase as the dealer will not be able to register the vehicle out of province. I am sure that under certain circumstances there may be a way around it. I know the local dealer in NB sold a SLS to a buyer in Montreal because of availability but not sure if MB Finance was involved in the deal.
