To me, it really resembles a baby W222 S-Class, inside and out.

2023 AMG EQS
If the C looks so much like the E,
The E coupe is a C class wearing E's clothes.
So how will we tell the difference between a C coupe and an E coupe?

Same with the "proposed" 4.0L TT engine. I'm a "big block N/A" man myself, but, with a much lighter engine with equivalent power & probably better torque, I'd have to say that the new car should be impressive.
However, I am still VERY happy with my '12 P31.
Cheers, Pickles.

I'm not liking the rear end at all.

Everything else is quite nice!

I wonder how much lighter a 4.0L TT engine will be? Perhaps 80 lbs? M-B gives the dry weight of the current 5.5L TT AMG engine as 450 lbs and the 6.3 NA engine as 445 lbs.

the roof profile reminds me of an old infiniti g35
I remember when people were saying the rear end of a w204 looked ugly?
I think its going to sell well. When the W203 came out people commented it was a baby S Class and it went on to become the best selling luxury car in the world even with its massive speedometer.

Did I read correctly, new model is a RWD?

I don't believe a turbo'd motor with same HP as a bigger motor will have same performance. I've had turbo'd car's and yes they are quick, you lose too much in the turbo's spool compared to naturally aspirated.

I don't know why but it looks, from the rear, like a mini Rolls-Royce, it's like an overall impression.

Suffice to say, ugly and staid. The front is meh, glad I got the 2014.

S550 on order
is this the normal one? non-amg? what I've noticed and I'm sure everyone else has..is the AMG actually looks quite different then a normal one...so I'm sure the AMG will look more sporty...i agree though the back looks like a mini rolls royce..kinda cool..looks more streamlined to me

Well if it's lighter, has a better transmission and maybe better traction then I could see it having better performance. Definitely not what AWD would add as far as acceleration goes though.

I like the new look. If it's AWD then I'd be down. If not then CLA45 for me.

Love it! Beautiful, classy and elegant. I have a feeling that it will look even better when you see it in real life.

Add some AMG muscle to complete the recipe!

The rear is a big No-No for me. It definitely needs some aggressive trunk spoiler to kick that round softness out.
