400lbs weight reduction and still have 2 front seats lol.
do you know what was your biggest weight reduction? and how much it saved?

looking to reduce some weight but not go as far as interior removal

thinking wheels and rotors are the biggest savings without touching the interior (or perhaps battery... on the e55 that saves about 30-40lbs)

Few things you can do.
  • Lighter wheels / tires
  • 2 Piece Rotors front / back (if you do not already have)
  • Removal of the Spare tire in Trunk
  • Light Weight Battery
  • Carbon trunk / hood (I really wont bother with these, the cost vs weight savings is minimal)
Aside from that, lighter parts such as Titanium exhausts etc will assist with Weight reduction.

Apparently the vf620 kit is as fast if not faster then the ess650 kit. So to those of you who have a tune and headers, don't be shy to give those supercharged m3's a run!!

Full exhaust 60 lbs from header to tips
Hood and trunk 55lbs
Rims and rotors another 65lbs 18s (when at track with 16's take out another 40lbs)
Lightweight 15lbs battery saves 50lbs
Tools and spare 40lbs
That's 270lbs and still have interior intact
remove rear seats 70lbs
Passages seat 65
Replace driver seat with racing seat saves 36 lbs .

I could also do sunroof delete save another 40lbs or so.

Good info.

Which lightweight battery do you use?
