I have MBH Headers, Mids, and X-Pipe.... I feel like the stock exhaust sounds like 2 big trumpets and a smaller muffler back there could fix things up.
Any ideas?
The Supersprint has an X..... is it okay to run dual X's? Is the stock resonator an X?
Any recommendations for my setup? iPE? Agency Power? Meistershaft? Akra?

Akrapovic cat back would be your top of the line choice. If your goal is to tone down the sound you could go with IPE valvetronic to modulate the exhaust at your liking.

I'd say go with Eisenmann exhaust the best sound and quality IMO. I had AP exhaust on my C63 cheap quality and sounds ugly

I agree on the ipe...at least you can adjust sound if you want too with your current set up. My bud here in the Bay Area is a master dealer so could hook you up if interested. I would research ipe vids.....akra and eisenmann are both great too.Originally Posted by abcut973

I had the same exact setup on you and was reluctant to change because it sounded so badass when WOT and didn't think it was possible to improve. Got a good deal on the AP Valved exhaust and decided to give it a chance ... AWESOME ! WOT with the valves open is absolutely insane much louder than stock and just sounds raw like a race car. With the valves closed its quieter than stock can't really get better than that. I was also worried about the dual X pipes since they are within 2 feet of each other but the butt dyno says the added flow of the 2.75 inch piping (vs 2.5 stock) with mandrel bends(Stock pipes have kinks and pinches that bottleneck flow) the car seems more responsive to throttle and pulls great up top. btw stock resonators have a small H pipe crossover so the added x pipe can only help not hurt with scavenging effect

if you can find a Carlsson exhaust , buy it and never look back
I loved having that exhaust on my car . of course , I have always been someone to look outside the box and not get the same stuff as everyone else . the other huge bonus to the Carlsson is that it is a 3" exhaust , which complimented the blower setup nicely

I would love to get the carlsson to keep it all 3". Anybody know where I can get it?
Does the Carlsson delete the resonator? Trying to confirm before ordering.

i have ap headers and straights to the mufflers. Everyone i drive by hates me but i think it sounds great! lol
Anyways, about the dual X's, idk. I know the akro is straight piped with no crossover and it gets a lot of good reviews..
