Head Bolt Affected VIN - 2010 & older, & early 2011s

Hello,
As many of you know, I have been providing Datacard info to many members interested in their build sheet, or to verify engine serial number.
I received a PM from a member today who indicates he has a "late 2010 C63". The Datacard for the VIN he provided shows a delivery date of 11/24/2010. The Datacard indicates the engine number is over 4,000 engines beyond serial number 156983 60 060658 where the new head bolts were employed.
Since we've believed that all 2010 and older, and some 2011s were in the affected range, I'm confused about how this one could be outside the range. I did a search to find out which digit in the VIN corresponds to the model year, but had no luck getting a clear answer.
Anyone have any thoughts on all of this?

Hi guys, I’m brand new to the forum.
I’m probably buying a C63 either tomorrow or the next day. It’s a late 2011 UK facelift model (61 number plate in the U.K.). I’ve not got access to the VIN yet. Can I assume that this does not have the Headbolt issue?

Thank you! I've been on the fence about jumping into a PFL C63 for a while now, mostly due to head bolts. Cannot afford an FL car. This car is very low mileage (41k miles).
My idea is to buy it and enjoy it for a while and, if I fall in love with it and plan to keep it for a longer time, do the head bolts at an indie shop.
