I have an ML63 with VIN WDC1641772A674869.

Can you please assist with letting me know if my engine is within the range of engines that used the old head bolts causing the cylinder head bolt failure?

I think its due to MY designation in ROW vs NA. My car is a 2006 ML63. However, in the US it would be considered a 2007 ML63.
2010 AMGs here carry engines after the cut-off point.

First post here...looking to get out of my Porsche 991.1 and into an 2011 SL63 AMG....been pouring over the board and am 90% sure I have the head bolt thing figured but thought I'd just post here to be sure before pulling the trigger.

VIN...WDBSK7AA2BF165341

Which I believe has engine number....156981 60 061535....per vindecoder.

I think I'm just over the good line but thought I'd double check here.

Thanks in advance, looking forward to posting pics and experiences/thoughts when I pull the trigger.

The first VIN is invalid. I assumed the "1644" was"1641". That VIN and the other two are not in the affected group.

You are correct Joe - There was a typo in the First VIN and it should have been 1641. When you say its invalid does that mean its part of the affected group of faulty head bolts?
