Hi All. I recently came across a 2010 C63 with engine no. 60315 (June 2010 model as per lastvin.com). It has the silver valve covers. My W209 CLK63 had an engine replacement under warranty in Aug 2010 - New engine no. is 57789 and it has black valve covers. Just curious as to why the later engine still had silver covers (I've seen a few others like this)

Your car has the old style head bolts unless someone has upgraded them.
