Talking At least I got A/C for my $75k

I saw this and it made me even more happy to have bought my car. Don't get me wrong. I'd love to take this thing for a drive, but I can't imagine ever buying a Camaro for $75k.

Yeah I read that thread a while back. At a certain price point the Camaro is an awesome deal. But at this price I can't see it ever working out.

2009 C63
Went to Chevy last week to see the new Stingray, which was actually OK. The new ZL1s are a joke, sticker price 50-60k, no chance. Interior is garbage.

But you didn't get carbon brakes, race suspension, or a 7 liter engine. The C63 and the Z28 are 2 different cars. The Z28 can go around a track without having to worry about going into limp mode. The C63 has a better interior.

But I still agree $75k is a lot of money for a Camaro.

Yeah I saw it had all the nice track goodies. I just see the Mustang GT500 being less money with ~150hp more being a better deal, but it's $60k or something. My $ limit on either of those feels like $40-45k though. I'm sure some American muscle car fanatics will 'pony' up for those cars though.

+1 on the Z06.
When I was shopping earlier this year, it was a toss up between a GT500 and the C63. ALMOST talked myself into the 'Stang, but when I sat down and thought about it, I would have had to order one, as there were none available like I wanted it optioned.

That would have made it into August '13 for delivery. Well I knew the new body style was coming, so 6 months after buying a "new" car, it would be obsolete.
And test driving a 5.0 GT was enough to convince me that the interior was a bit too "plasticky" for my tastes.

Not that the C63 doesn't have an abundance of plastic inside too, but just feels classier. The seats, steering wheel etc, just felt better to me. Then of course cold start that magical 6.2 German NASCAR engine and it was an easy purchase decision
