At the end of the day its still a corvette, problem is everyone has one.I go on my local cars and coffee meets and you see 100 cars show up and 30 of them are corvettes and they come in revving there motors 10 at a time. Theres one SL65 me and one SLS.
I love the fit and finish of Benz thats why i own one.The corvette looks cool but i guess I'm getting old now at 40 it looks like a kids car to me i just can't wrap myself around it and see myself driving it.It looks like a car i would have loved when i was 28.

'05 SL 55 Black/Black w/mods from Eurocharged/Kleemann/BuckheadImports
they are both awesome
They are both bad *** and ridiculously quick, but of course the turbo S 991 will be even faster from a dig and more comfortable daily driver most likely....probably a completely different feel and sound....it will just come down to personal preference....cant go wrong with either for sure!

Been there and done that 6 years ago when I purchased a new C6 Z06 and drove to Quality motorsports in Lewisville, TX and had heads, cams , headers, Throtle body, air filter, tune with only 1400 miles on the car(335itoz06 on corvette forum)
Basically you will need an AWD car at this point to be able to put the power to the ground. Any sport car maker will eat this corvette (Porsche AWD, Audis AWD, Lambos, GTRs..).
This C7 is a nice car but it is too much power for RWD. I had hard times with my Z06 even driving on straight line. The power was unusable at the dragstrip with stock tires. If they ever offer a AWD version this would be in my opinion the best car for the price. The newer auto transmission is a plus. Finally they are making sense!
