Now we wait for confirmation regarding the transmission.
more curves would also be good
DCT would be good but won't have that prolonged pop when you up shift in a MCT

'The M3/M4 won’t tolerate sloppy throttle inputs. It’s without a doubt the highest-performance road car M has built, but it also requires a LOT of talent to drive ... at least BMW has a network of driver’s schools to help there, starting with the teen driving program up through the BMW CCA race schools.'"

I like the looks of the new M4 a LOT, the only drawback is that it comes with a an in-line 6 and sounds a little bit like a fart can

But this year should be pretty interesting, I'm gonna try to be as patient as I can before pulling the trigger on a new car. The Jag F coupe is the best bang for the buck. When I test drove the convertible I fell in loce but it was pretty tight in there. Being 6'3 doesn't help much. Hopefully the coupe will have more leg room

PS: The link is dead

Yeah the new M3/M4 is certainly very impressive from an engineering standpoint. And the inline 6 is very true to BMW's roots. However, like you, I'm quite keen on V8s.
You're also right in that the new M3/M4 does not sound very good at all (compared to the previous 4.0L V8). It's raspy. Doesn't have the same growl and thunder as the 6.2L M156. I'm definitely going to drive both the F80 M3 and the 2015 C63 when I have the opportunity but am already leaning strongly toward the AMG because it will retain the V8 (albeit a biturbo V8).
The Jag is a great option. There are more options than ever for enthusiasts currently. Competition in the industry is good; the customers reap the benefit.

I updated the link in my original post as well.

I just hope this new C63 will be able to go around a track for more than 2 laps without seeing limp mode!... ugh

That help me to make up my mind not getting the new C63, there are ton of better choices 2015.

YAYYY!! really glad AMG will keep it rwd and I look forward to trying it.
btw guys I read somewhere that it is pretty much confirmed it will remain MCT...dont remember the article/video though...kinda disappointing but whatever..im just glad its not going to be AWD.
I hope they make some body modifications for the AMG this time (read wider rear fenders)
EDIT: natman316, that gif is flippin hilarious!!

Back to the drawing board for me.
AMGs popularity was built on the recklessness of these cars. AWD make the car too boring and it no longer stays an enthusiasts car IMO

I think the C is more drivers oriented than Es and S's...so rwd makes sense. For E63 it AWD kinda makes sense since its not a track car anyways..more of a fast DD. Compared to C class which is much more of a sporty car.
