No electronics will be changed, should not be a problem.

What 3-way switch are you referring to? I just bought my car and the side bolsters do not work at all.

There is a switch with 3 buttons on the right side of the seat if it is a sedan.

On the pre facelift models there a 3 horizontal rocker type switches on the inwards facing surface of both front seat backrests - 1 for the side bolsters, one for lumbar adjustment and one to adjust upper back area.
On the facelift versions I believe these switches were combined into a single switch and relocated onto the panel under the outer thigh bolster of the seat.

ON the prefacelift version at least all 3 switches are on the one circuit for both front seats, so in theory if there is a short somewhere all the adjustments will not work, on both front seats. If it is only your side bolsters that are not working it suggests a mechanical problem with just the side bolsters on that seat.

I have all three rocker switches on my LCI/face-lifted model.

All sedans (pre-LCI and LCI) have the three switches on the side of the seat for the various inflatable bladders. The coupes have the single 4-position switch on the bottom that controls the mechanical lumbar support.

the first time for me the seats were snug... didn't feel comfortable... but after a couple of weeks to a month of daily driving... it went away... the seats feel great now...

when i let my mother drive the car, she said the seats were uncomfortable as well... after a few times, she started to get used to it... and later said that the seats in her s550 seems to be too loose... =P

so although the experience might not be the same for you... but it could be you just need some additional seat time...

That is my understanding as well.

This is good advice. I am used to snug seats. I'm personally a huge fan of the C63 Sedan's seats.

OP I would recommend giving them a few weeks to "break in," if you will.

I like the snugness of the backrest and adjustability of the side supports but the seat bottoms are a little bit snug or narrow for me. Getting a little more used to it now but wish you could adjust the bottom bolsters wideness like you can do the back bolster wideness. I have a 2013 sedan.

If you already have a C63 (and thus the seats themselves), re-upholstering them would be a *MUCH* more reasonable option. Does the sedan have air bags in the seat? If your car is not already configured for the same seat type, re-coding it is pretty much impossible... at least not somethign that Mercedes would even entertain when building a car (been there).

Maybe OP's seats are messed up? Maybe try sitting in another C63 at the dealer and see if you have the same issue?
You might be right. I would maybe ask the dealer to check them. It could be age related in the seats. I am 225 and 5' 10" with a 42in waist and mine fit great. Now my son in law witha 52 in chest? No so good.

i just gotta say. if a bro lifts, bro might have a hard time reaching over to adjust bro's seat bolsters (on the sedan). in seriousness, it is kind of an annoying location to have to reach across your own body to access them.

If you are that big to the point where wiping your own *** is troublesome....maybe you should think about laying off the roids a bit. In all seriousness, just lean the left some and use your right hand, it's not rocket science lol.....*something is missing...ahh yes*....bro.

So, you can adjust the side bolsters? Man, I really have to read the manual...
