Rotors/Pads Change suggestion
I got quoted $2400 for front/rear rotors/pads change from Benz servicing department. I'll hold it off and search for better deals aftermarket.
Came across RacingBrakes: $2300 for front/rear with pads included
Then came across parts.com:
$115.20 Front rotors $175.20 Rear rotors
$207.60 Front pads $108.00 Rear pads
The prices from parts.com seem unreal has anyone actually purchased from them? Is it legit.. lol
Should I just purchase from Benz servicing department if it's pretty much same price as RacingBrakes and avoid shipping + labor fees

Very interesting. Looks like they sell the Performance package rotors also. For $684..... Anyone ever ordered from there and are the parts good or are they just Chinese knock off parts?

I just did all 4 rotors and pads two months ago from parts.com
The rear pad price you listed is incorrect (even though that is what their website said). I saw the same thing. But after placing the order they contacted me to say that is not the correct parts and the real parts are more expensive.
I have the invoice in front of me as I write this. My rear pads were $211.20
They stated they would adjust the shipping rate (which was outrageous) to compensate for the upcharge on the parts. They adjusted some, but in the end it still cost me $43 more than what the original shopping cart price total said.
I felt this is a purposeful bait and switch on prices just to squeeze ~$40 extra out per customer. And, if they had room to adjust the shipping rate then why not offer those lesser shipping costs in the first place???
But, the parts themselves have been fine (*). The rotors and pads fit perfectly. A month later I decided to put Porterfield R4S pads up front. When I took the 99% new front pads off there were tiny cracks in the material.
MB of Naperville (fulfiller for parts.com) said to them to local dealership for warranty. So I did. Local dealership said the cracks are too small so they won't do anything about it. Am I supposed to wait until the cracks get larger and possibly damage the new rotors before anybody will do something about this?
Rant over. That's my brake story. Contact parts.com and get the REAL prices + shipping up front before purchasing.

There is a chance that your rotors are still within spec. You need to measure and inspect them . If they are still good all you need are new pads as per merc63.
The dealer parts are not even close to the racing brake parts unless you go for P31 parts for the front and then the dealer will want $3500 for the brake job and you will not have 2 piece rotors for the rear.

Ya measure your rotors with a caliper. Use some quarters on the rotor surface so you dont hit that lip around the outer edger.
Ive got 72000km on my stock rotors and there is more to go.. I think one guy went around 120000km on the stock rotors before they hit the min wear thickness...
But if you are running the 1 piece rotors, they are cheap to replace.. the 2 piece can get expensive.

My car has around 35K km's so far. I think the first time I will have to change the brakes it'll only be the pads. I won't have to worry about the rotors until the next time I have to change the pads? It has the P31 package.

I would suggest the porterfield R4S pads, we always have these in stock.
If you have the standard 1pc rotors, it is impossible to beat the parts.com pricing. For the price of the front and rear OEM Pads you can have the porterfields which provide a much better bite and also are low in dust.
If you have the 2pc front rotors Girodisc is the way to go for $950/pair(also in stock). You can always match the rears a matching set of 2pc rotors vs the factory 1pc rotors.
Hope this information is helpful.

I just did front rotors(centric $215 shipped through amazon) and pads(R4S $450 shipped from formymercedes.com) all around this past weekend. installation was under $300 performed at EuroCharged-DC total just under $1k
Rear rotor would have been about 250ish for the rotors and about 100 more in installation.
