If only they brought the wagon stateside -- I would keep mine forever. We had a W123 300TE (gas, 5 speed) wagon shipped from Europe when I was a kid -- another keeper! Arg!

I love this engine too. But I think a lot of the appeal of the 2JZ GTE is it's availability at a relatively low cost and an aftermarket that isn't extremely expensive (plus they are bulletproof) and I just don't think the M156 falls into that category.

In any case, if I ever let my C63 go, I will be teary eyed handing over the keys. I might just try and keep it forever like my first car, my Lexus.

Turbos are the way to go. Its about time Mercedes joined the club. A friend of mine has a
Golf R stage 2 with a tune, exhaust, air filters, and intercooler and he runs low 12's around 115mph. Seeing that made me want to get me a turbo car!!!

As highlighted by Chris in that video, I have a strong reason to keep my C63 for quite some time.

I DD it now and I am actually considering adding another DD so I drive the C63 maybe on the weekends. If I manage to keep this car until 2018. That'll be the longest I've spent with any car. I am targeting for more.
