Newbie C63 owner
New to the forum and new to a C63! Came from a 2005 M3 and was a long time member on M3forum (sean454). Anyways Heres a few pics of my old M3 that had quite a few mods and also my newest car I bought yesterday. Its a 2010 C63 with 30k on it. Love the car so far but haven't driven it too much. Have a few questions about it though!
1. Gas gauge quit working on my way home.
2. Not sure how the HDD works.
3. Seat bolsters don't seem to be working?
4. Explain the rear "fog" lights.
5. I love the multispokes and found a replica. What offsets look/function best? (19"s).
6. I want a diffuser, rear spoiler and front spoiler. What are my best options for price? Price is not always quality (I had Vorsteiner parts on my M3 and it was terrible fitment and terrible customer service).
7. How safe is it to tune these engines and what is the best software?
8. Im sure I have a few more stupid questions

1st welcome
The OEM multispoke can be bought from a few vendors online ( some guys online here part with them so keep an eye out).
Side bolster should work and your under warranty so have it looked at along with the gas gauge.
As for Tunning make sure your engine is running right 1st but there are a lot of great tuners here.
I have ran my OE tune when I 1st got my C63 with approx 17,000 miles I'm at 76,000 and no issues.
But shop around and see who make you feel more comfortable

To answer #4 about rear foglight, it's so the car behind you a better chance of seeing before they rear end you in a fog. The Bright Red rear foglight cuts the fog better than the standard tail light making you more visible.

Hey thanks for the advice! I am bringing it to the dealer next week to get those things checked out.
How much for the H-pipe your selling? Also, how loud is it?

Depends on what you want. OEM fitment, flush fitment, poke, lowered? tire size desires? etc...
There are now 6 million wheel/tire threads so plenty of info out there.

Very nice E46, still one of my favorite cars out there. I wanted one so bad back then but found a great deal on a NSX instead that I couldn't pass up. A year later I was shopping for a E46 M but the tuning capabilities of the N54 engine ended up luring me away & I bought a 335i instead. I'm curious on what made you go from a E46 M to a C63? I see that most guys on the M3forum usually move on to the E9X M3

Im going to leave the suspension stock for now. Looking at these wheels and wondering if I should get spacers with them or not and also what tire sizes to run?

Thanks alot! I loved that car. In my opinion one of the best cars ever made. It will be a classic! Since HPF is in my backyard I did get to go for a ride in a stage 4 M3.... I have never been in anything so fast but it came with a hefty price! ($40,000 just for turbo kit). I have driven about every other car I could. M5 was too big and too soft feeling, however it sounded absolutely amazing! It's also quite an ugly car. The E92 M3 was awesome and it was a tough pick between the two but im getting older and four doors just seems more reasonable and the E90 is too ugly. The M3 also carries that "boy racer" feel to it. After having my 63 for a week I think I made the right decision! It was time for change! I have noticed the MB forum is not as popular as M3 forum however and tough to find help on these cars vs the bmws!

1. Gas gauge quit working on my way home.
warranty
2. Not sure how the HDD works.
i rarely use it, but from what i know if you want to use that slot, you need to buy a pcmcia card... also, i remember if you put in a non-mp3 cd in there, you have the option to transfer the full disk to the hdd... after it copies over, you don't need the cd anymore.
3. Seat bolsters don't seem to be working?
warranty
4. Explain the rear "fog" lights.
it should be one of your brake light bulbs on the driver side only... if you drive with it on, you will have one bright light on the driver side tail light... you should only use this when it's bad weather or foggy so cars behind you can see you better... imho, if you keep it on all the time, it looks stupid because it will look like you have a bulb out on the passenger side... plus it can bother drivers behind you since it's like having the brake light on all the time... check your dash for the rear fog light symbol... make sure it's off when not used...
5. I love the multispokes and found a replica. What offsets look/function best? (19"s).
don't know off the top of my head, but plenty of threads on mbworld
6. I want a diffuser, rear spoiler and front spoiler. What are my best options for price? Price is not always quality (I had Vorsteiner parts on my M3 and it was terrible fitment and terrible customer service).
i say pretty much all aftermarket parts will have some kind of fitment issue... even if it's very small... just find a reputable dealer judging by all the posts here and find the style you like...
7. How safe is it to tune these engines and what is the best software?
i've had an '09 and still have my '10... i tuned both of them through eurocharged... no problems... i'm over 60k miles on my car... but there are a lot of reputable tuners out there... it's difficult to say who is the best...
8. Im sure I have a few more stupid questions
no problem. just try and search the forums... you'd be surprised how many answers you can find yourself...

my car falls under the category but over 60k miles with mods and i've had no issues... there are a lot of cars without issues as well... but doesn't hurt to check it our before warranty runs out...

Are far as a front lip and diffuser go, I'd fully recommend ARKYM. Fitment was perfect and IMO their parts are the best looking for the 2008-2011 C63s. I had them installed on my 2009 C63 with revozport skirts and the combo looked killer. You can check it out in my pic thread from a while back https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-c63-pics.html

nice car! yes exact rims im looking for!
Currently a set of 19" multispoke OEM for sale on this forum for $2400.00 with TPM's and lugs. May be more than you want to spend if your looking at replicas but you get first quality and this is a good price considering OEM.
