wrapping grille gloss black
Guys what do you think about wrapping vinyl? Does it look similar to paint if I wrapped my grille in gloss black? and how long would it last?
I don't want to paint them. So, i would be glad with someone helping me.

Vinyl will end up looking best. Just remove the chrome pieces on the grille, wrap those, and pop them back in. It will last better than plastidip and paint because it will resist chipping.
There is another thread going right now about this. I believe it is the PlastiDip thread that should still be on this page

Those strips on the grille are just chrome inserts. When you remove the grille you can access the tabs to remove them from the back. So, you pop out the chrome strips. wrap those, and thus you have a blacked out grille.
Or, you can always just try wrapping the chrome strips while they are still on the grille.

Um, what? Are we talking about the same thing? The chrome on the fins (ie pre-facelift 2 fins vs facelift 1 fin)... The fact that the most outside edge of the grille sits flush with the chrome strips on the fins would be enough to say you cant "slide" them out. Not to mention there are literally tabs in the back.

Thanks, I love it too! I can't take my eyes off of it EVERYTIME that I approach my car. It is from VIS Racing. I happened to visit their website last week looking at CF diffusers and noticed the hood (GT Style is what they call it I think) had gone up in price quite a bit. Perhaps supply and demand has caught up to the detriment of consumers.
Love that hood Clark Kent! Which one is it, where did you get it, and How much? And I'm def wrapping my grille soon!

No pins required and fitment is good on mine. My body guy installed it and did all the adjustments for like 50 bucks. The only thing I did not put back was the hydraulic push rods.
