ESP Sport Question

Natural CAI solution.
I am in Houston, TX. This was around 5:30 AM today.
I've recently used sport mode for the first time since I got my car (2 years) because there was heavy rain and traction control kept interfering every time I tried to accelerate. It may sound counter - intuitive to be driving in heavy rain with traction off, but it was getting hard to merge onto the freeway when traction control kept cutting off my power. In sport mode, however, I was able to drive like I normally do.
I v been driving my c63 in off mode since day one unless its wet. An average driver would drive faster with on mode tbh

I find myself driving the car in sport constantly unless im just going to cruise. I like it off all the way but with the blower it just has too much damn low end torque and the power is so instant it's hard to predict it in a turn. my driver skill is somewhere in between sport and off. Sport will keep me out of trouble and i know if i curb one of these hre's my wife will neuter me. It's her car after all.

Yea i got a mechanical diff in the rear plus KWs, which make it so much easier to put the power down in a turn when its in the off mode.
I wouldnt feel comfortable enough to push a factory one too much in a turn, surely i would end up not on the road anymore.
