TPMS ISSUE
When I put new wheels on my car, they transferred the TPMS from my stock wheels onto the new wheels. Apparently they couldn't get two of them off the old wheels though so I drove a couple months with only 2 sensors on and then 2 wheels without sensors. The little light would blink for a while and then would eventually say "Tire Pressure Monitoring System Unavailable" or something like that.
A few days ago, I got new sensors put on that I had ordered off of ebay. The seller said they worked for my car. Anyway, I got someone to put them on for me, but now everytime I start the car, the RED check tire pressure warning pops up indicating that a tire has gone flat or something. I checked all the tires and they are all at 40psi. I've read that I may need to reset the sensors multiple times (i'm guessing through the menu on the speedometer) before they finally work, but I've been driving around for about a week and the same thing happens every single time.
Is there something else I should be doing?

Do you have the part number of the new sensors?
Maybe there is an incompatibility with your old ones .
When i installed my CF10 a year ago i bought a new set of OEM TPMS off ebay as well. And it worked from the get go! I just reset the sensors once and it was good to go.
So basically 2 things:
1. the tpms you bought aren't for your car. The radio system inside the trunk does not recognize them. I would make sure these TPMS are the correct ones. If so maybe buy 2 similar ones to the new and install them to see if they work.
2. maybe for some reason the radio interface is faulty. Try to disconnect your battery to do a hard reset and see if it works.
Eventually if you have or know someone who has star diagnostic get your car hooked up to see the fault messages.
FYI this is the part number i bought for my 09 sedan A003 540 02 17.

Description Relearn (Set of 4) 2007-2012 Mercedes Benz C Class - ITM 08003 433MHz TPMS Sensor
Technical Specs
I found this on ITM's webpage.
RESET Air Pressure
1. Inflate all tires to pressure listed on tire placard.
2. Turn ignition to ON position (engine off).
3. Press forward/back button on steering wheel until trip and odometer are displayed.
4. Press UP/DOWN button until tire inflation pressure monitor is displayed
5. Hold down reset button (located on instrument cluster) until MONITOR CURRENT TIRE PRESSURE? Is displayed.
6. Press + button TIRE PRESS, MONITOR ACTIVATED-PRESS. DISPLAY AFTER DRIVING A FEW MINS. is displayed.
7. If REACTIVATE-TIRE PRESS. MONITOR! Appears, repeat relearn procedure.
8. If CHECK TIRES! appears, indicates tire pressure too low, adjust pressures accordingly.
Relearn New Sensor Ids
Ensure all tires are inflated to the pressure listed on the tire placard. Vehicle must be driven for at least 10 minutes, while maintaining speed above 15 mph in order for system to learn new sensor IDs. If spare tire sensor ID is being programmed, a properly formatted scan tool is necessary.

your tire pressure sensors should start picking up the pressures within a mile. This system works very quickly. Reset the system only when the tires are cold and the car has been sitting a few hours. Never reset them when the tires are warm, you also typically want to set the front a little lower than the rears - the stock programming has thresholds and wants to see a difference between front and rear. Other things to consider other than getting the wrong sensors.... sensors were damaged in shipping, sensors were damaged during installation, the "good" factory sensors battery died?
post up a link to the ones you ordered. do you know what frequency they operate on? 315 or 433mhz?

i actually bought the two tpms off of ebay and can't find the link anymore. i'm fine with buying a new set of 4, but don't know where to buy them. i'm deciding between these two:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TPMS-Tire-Pr...e268ef&vxp=mtr
OR
http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-TPMS-Mercedes-Tire-Pressure-Sensor-433Mhz-Set-4-Pieces-New-from-2013-/261444609239?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cdf5024d7&vxp=mtr
i'm assuming 08 c63's use 433mhz? or am i just making stuff up as i go? i'm leaning toward the set in the first link just because they'd get here sooner than the other set, but i believe the second set is OEM so it might be better?

That 's what I bought for my 09 MY. They looks similar to the 2nd link. The only difference there are no O ring/mounting nut.

ya those should work the second ones - factory spec. The first one is misleading says it does 315/433? They should start working pretty much instantly. Whenever they see a large pressure change or rotational motion it causes them to wake up and transmit. if you've made it more than 2 miles and they dont show up something is not working correctly. 204's are 433mhz you are correct
