thinking about getting this one from JL:

either that, or get the mode carbon one. but since the JL one is half the cost, i thought i'd give it a whirl, so was wondering if anyone has seen the JL one in person or has one themselves. how's the fit and finish and does it fit properly?

The mode carbon is great. I damaged my mode carbon one so bought the JL one and the top fit great but where the bottom of the spoiler meets the back of the trunk, there is a big gap, maybe 1/4in. Didn't end up fitting it, and got another brand.

Wouldn't recommend the JL one for the boot spoiler but my front lip from them is a great fit overall.

thanks, charlie, that's what i was worried about. i guess i'll spring for the MC one. i was just curious if their pics made the piece look great or if it really was in real life (they do have great pics). would you happen to have any pics of the MC on your car? i'd like to see some normal, non professional pics of it installed.

i have the mode carbon spoiler and the quality/fit is great. highly recommend.

Hey mate, these are the only photos I have. All the photos in this thread are with the mode carbon spoiler. Fitted myself, I'm sure the fitment would be better with professional install.

The mode carbon one is beautiful, heres a non edited unprofessional iphone pictures that i took while it was being installed by sonictuning

The fitment was spot on, and it really does look just as good in person personally.
