Time to buy used c63?
First post here. I recently test drove a c63 amg and am now thoroughly hooked:

With the new model coming out sometime later this year, it stands to figure that there will be a bunch of cars dumped on the used market as people trade in. People will also probably be more interested in the twin turbo than the NA 6.3 v8.
So it stands to figure: used c63 prices will come down later this year.
Conjecture time: how far down do people think it will fall? $1000 or so (in which case I may as well move now) or $5000 (maybe some incentive to hold off, taken together with my mpg change).
Right now I am in an e90 328 xdrive that is immaculately maintained, new brakes, rotors, new Koni's going in, etc. So I am in no rush to do anything and would be fine to wait it out if a significant price break is coming. Also, to preempt this: I would not be trading in the e90.
I'm trying to keep my purchase sub $40k, and whether the car comes with it OEM or not, a LSD would be going in (people here and elsewhere seem to say good things about Quaife). Otherwise, a chip would happen instantly as well.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
Just keep in mind that with the used car you're also looking at some maintenance to do sooner than later. Fluids, brakes, etc.
Honestly, I know it is higher than the budget but I would wait until the new c63 comes out. This way you know what that car is really all about and can convince yourself to come up in price, OR, you'd realize you really want the NA motor and go that route. However, with how that 5.5 bi-turbo that is already out I would imagine the C63's new motor is going to be pretty nasty.

Certain cars are better off with forced induction... but I think I like this 6.3l v8 as is

you get the best of both worlds with big displacement and FI

what costs all go into the limited slip diffs? Does one need to purchase a case or is it just the ~$1,100 USD + install if you need to hire someone?
I believe C63s, at least in Southern California are highly priced.. It's ridiculous actually. I've been having a hard time finding a silver 2012 with P31 and LSD And lighting package. Seems every one on the market has an interior color other than black.
