2014 C63 Leasing Help!

Hey MB fans,

The lease on my C350 coupe is ending within a few months and I was interested in leasing a new C63 AMG.

I'm looking for the most basic model I can find out there with only a preference for the lighting package, which is not necessary either. It could be a sedan or coupe, whichever has the better MF and residual and will eventually end up with the lower monthly payment.

I'm looking to put a minimum down payment ($2000-$3000 including all fees, etc.), 36 month lease/12,000 miles per month. I want the monthly payment to not exceed $700 including tax.

Do you guys think this is possible? If not, what do you think is the lowest payment I can get to? Is this a good or bad time to buy a new C63? Shouldn't dealerships be willing to give away C63's within the next year because the new body C-Class's and new AMG's are coming out?

Thanks for reading and I appreciate any comments!!!

in Canada - no. My 507 was 20k down, and was 700/mo with similar mileage.

All I can give as info is what I pay per month on a fully equipped c63 coupe 13'.
0$ down, 48months/20,000km year in Quebec,Canada is 1,250$ a month. This is ridiculous for US people but for where I live this is normal.

The $700 per month range is definitely doable (in the U.S.) on a very well-equipped car if you try to snag one of the remaining '13 models. Even with little to no money down.

On a '14 507 model, you're going to have to put some serious coin down on the lease (not advisable) to get the payment down. You'll have to increase the length of the term and decrease the mileage to even get moderately close.

Not even close I am afraid. First, there are no lease "specials" on AMG products. The MF rates are always standard rates, and the residuals on 2013 models are no longer supported (standard).

Most dealers are not that aggressive on AMG pricing as well, but with even the best negotiations $700 a month is going to be tough.

You could however find a nice CPO to purchase in that range, and would get the benefit of the unlimited mileage CPO warranty.

I guess he's out of luck at this point. But several months ago, there were excellent deals available for the '13 models.

Lol I'm paying $785 for my Lexus with 2k down (27months/10kmiles). Are C63s really that cheap? How much does the average guy pay?

Not to stray too far OT but that's an insane price for an IS man (although it is a nice car). What happened? Did you negotiate or just point and sign? You could've gotten a 4MATIC E-Class (E350) for the same or less.

I've had several fully loaded 335i sedans (2 E90s, 2 F30s) and none of them were more than $625 per month.

2013 C63 coupe P31
I had 16k$ rebate on a 2013, 3k$ down, and I'm at 975$ per month on a fully loaded P31 Coupe. I'm afraid you're out of luck, 2013s are no longer leasable via MB, so you have to put a looot of cash down to get down to 700.

Even used, the lease rates are much higher so in the end the monthly payment is the same. If it can help usually sedan have lower rates (1.9 or 2.9%) on leasing.

If I were you I'd look at M235i or 435i, probably more doable and still a *******g good car. I don't think they'll offer the same deals with the 2014 507, unless they go back in steady production...

Pick up a 2012 (looks the same as 2014 but with 2 years of depreciation) in the $50k range and put down $8k-10k (should cover taxes plus some) @ 3%-3.5% for 72 months and you have yourself a $700/month note. You should still have some remaining warranty and the 72 months doesn't hurt you since the big depreciation has already passed and you shouldn't take too big of a hit when you get rid of it in 2-3 years. Good luck.

I wouldn't give up! Go to your local dealers and tell them what you can afford, but don't let them be disrespectful to you. Show that you are serious and will sign right away if they can do it. A standard car is not comparable to 507 or "fully loaded p31". You're talking ~15-20k difference in price. Keep looking. Where are you located?

At least it's the new body style though. Hard to get dealers to budge when the car is "new" anyway.

After seeing your tactical/espionage skills on display here (that diabetic guy mission), I guess I was just expecting that you would've done some negotiating.

Thanks for the advice. Yea i am definitely not looking for a fully loaded P31 or a 507 model, just a basic car. I am located in LA but willing to drive FAR to get the price I'm looking for. From what people have commented on this thread so far, seems like it can't be done, but I'm going give it a shot when I start actually going to dealers.

Yeah there aren't a lot of choices in Louisiana. You will most likely be driving far. Good luck.

Ok go on your local mb dealer websites and look for new car inventory. Find the options you want and then approach them with an offer. Be sure to include fletcher in Newport and mb Laguna as well.

Yes
$700/month aint happenin my man, sorry. My 2009 was ~72k MSRP if I remember right, paid $54k w/a couple grand down, ~820 a month or something and that was one of the best deals I've seen on these cars.

Back in April 2013, my 13 Coupe optioned out at about $75.5k msrp. Leased it for $1004/mo, Only $500 out of pocket to cover registration and whatnot. 39 months, 15k/yr. Never put money down on a lease, it's pointless to throw it away just to lower a payment.

I checked lease rates at Fletcher's a couple of weeks ago for the 2015 AMG C63, the sales guy estimated about $1000.00 per month for a two year lease with a minimal down. I have fleet pricing through a former employer and think he used that in the calculations ($2500-$4000 discount).

I test drove the 2014 C63 AMG and liked the car. That said the new Lexus RC-F
is priced similarly and is bound to attract buyers as well, might be my first choice.
