It's truly a shame that you spend that much money and receive an inferior product. I would expect nothing but perfect quality and fitment for that price. Another one of my buddies bought a trunk spoiler from Vorsteiner a few years ago and after a short amount of time the clear-coat literally started coming off and you can feel the bare cf. You should contact the guys over at Mode Carbon. You will be very happy with their products. On the other hand.... I wanted those mirrors!!! If you ever decide to sell them please let me know!

Nice CF trim from Matt! But few questions:
- why u don't have seat control on ur door panel?
- i thought Matt was selling his red mirrors as a whole assembly?
And yes, my pre-facelift Vorsteiner diffuser also have a gap on the top part but I bought it used & no where near 1700$ lol .. Good luck with the resolution.. CF parts are a hit or miss no matter if they cost 100$ of 2000$+

I agree on most vendors source their parts from the same manufacture in China, but as much as I want to buy Mode products, I just love the look of my vorstreiner diffuser too much so I can leave with that gap.
Keep in mind I bought mine used, and for cheap. So I feel for OP who spent an arm for his diffuser.

Yes, if the gap not big enough to make it looks like crooked. FYI, the diffuser also come with a little dent, it's not big but pretty deep. I could cover it if it fits perfect.

Please dont bite your tongue, vendors and shops take advantage. You better fight for a new one. I still believe velos will fix your situation. Its not like them to not, but stick with it.

Are you sure its an authentic vorsteiner diffuser?
Sell for $1700...buy for $300...sounds like a good business plan
I messaged Lance about a Pre-FL diffuser, this was the response I got...
"Your price for the diffuser will be $1745 and an additional $73.25 for shipping. Let know when you're ready to place an order. Feel free to Email me or give me a call. 786-401-6520."
At that price, no thanks.

Keep fingers crossed for them to send a new one without asking for the original back. Someone will buy the original even with the issues!
Had this happen to me with an aftermarket M3 bumper. Lol

They should give my money back! I noticed that that when I opened it. I comforted myself that the lower of the car and it's hard to see when it's dirty. If it's fit perfect I will take it. However, it way to far to fit ....

On more question guys, should the inside of th diffuser looks like this? Attachment 286272 Attachment 286273 Attachment 286274
Attachment 286275 Attachment 286276
I know my spoiler from vorsteiner is not like this. It's just like the topside but with dull polish coated not clear-coat.

If I were Vorsteiner, I would jack my price up to $2500! People would still justify buying it! Unreal, CF is the biggest hoax! Lmao

Not stupid, authenticity means a lot to you and everyone else who ha purchased it. If fitment was there and quality as expected, these discussions aren't happening.

Return the diffuser, the ding is unacceptable.
Hope Velos will help u out, they are a sponsor here & 1 unhappy customer can make a lot of noise.

I think it probably is Vorsteiner as i don't think the cheaper ones come with the tabs pre-drilled. (Mine didn't from SC Dynamics). However, at 1700 dollars that's 4 times what i paid and mine and it fits perfectly (body shop trimmed a small bit) and looks identical to a Vorsteiner one.
I initially bought the SC Dynamics one and thought if its cheap and nasty i will buy the genuine one. However, i am more than happy with the "copy".
I am sure a forum sponsor (Velos) will sort this out for you and either replace or refund.
Don't feel stupid.....everyone gets caught at sometime.
