I don't care if Vorsteiner messed up or not but if I bought from Velos I would expect them to rectify that issue! I am so glad that the OP put this thread up as I was super close to purchase a front lip and diffuser from Velos. I am glad I know what their customer service is like before I spent my money. Although I still hope they come through for the OP.

I'm pretty sure that it is an authentic one. Cheap diffusers wont be bare carbon like that in the back. And the tabs look just like OEM (first i've seen, usually other diffusers I've had BOCA, Mode have solid tabs). Did you say it was professionally installed? sometimes cf u need a professional installation to get it sitting good.

If the company won't work with you to make it right and you used a credit card to buy it; contact the credit card company and use their resolution team to force a return. The ding and fitment is unacceptable and you should not roll over and accept it . You ordered a product after-all, and technically it's broken or not as advertised. I would be absolutely livid at $1,700.

Wow, I'm sorry man that sucks. I truly hope that they send you a new one with no questions asked, especially since you tried to have it professionally installed with no luck. The gap is not right but the "dent" is unacceptable so I hope that this gets resolved. Thanks for sharing your story and please keep us updated.

Sometime people get bad luck, even it's a $1700 parts. But vorsteiner is known as the 100% fitment of their product, so it is totally unacceptable.

I already set up the cf mirror housing from Matt it's perfect. I will set up the trims next week.

It's just the tab. Happened on mine. Took off the bumper and pushed the clip in.

It's hard to get that one in. Rear bumper rebar is in the way to reach up and behind there. Bumper has to come off.

Well that sets that straight. There is no way in hell I am ordering those parts from Velos now. It's ridiculous that they wouldn't step up to the plate and help a customer who put so much money through them. I wish there was something I could do to help but all I can do is make sure I and everyone else I know contemplating purchase from them doesn't go ahead with it. Good luck.

Thx for the heads up OP, it's pretty lame they can't even offer u an exchange for the diffuser.

I remember Andrew who built a widebody C63 & purchased Velos wheels from them, he had no support whatsoever either when he had problem with fitment. This company is only about sales. Stay away guys.
