CTS-V vs Weistec Stage 3 Vs Longtube header/tune C63

A buddy sent me a video he found from the track the other night.

I am in the right lane in the first race against the CTS-V.

I believe the Caddy is stock, Im trying to confirm.

The second race is a MHP v2 long tube header car and tune vs the Caddy.

Shows you the power difference between a header c63 and a stage 3.

I hit the rev limiter TWICE in that race and spun off the line, that was my first and slowest run of the night as well.

Wow, your car is strong! You left the CTS-V standing still... What was the track time and mph on that pass.

I did 10.9 at 130mph, DA was 4500ft.

The header c63s are doing 12.4-12.6 under 110mph.

Nice mph. You must be around 600 whp gauging by that.

Are you in Canada.

I just put a boost gauge on today, I am hitting 10psi under full load. Engine has 75000km on it. Probably 10000km with the blower. Running good, no signs of anything mechanically wrong.

M156 is a very strong engine.

The CTS V was stock + a cold air intake.

Nice run. 130 with that kind of DA is very impressive.

This is good to hear!

I am not exactly sure what I am going to do with mine just yet. I am kinda interested in a few other cars. I may sell it.

Will the Eurocharged V5 tune make any difference on a 2012 P31 Coupe? i thought the tune was only for non-P31 cars?

Please correct me if I am wrong?

I own all the tuners almost, OE, EC and Velos, I'd go with OE...EC is great, Velos is like a pure race tune and OE is like a mix of velos+ec ..you'll get some changes and power from it, not as much power as a non-p31 though

heres some more info: http://oetuning.com/blog/?p=891

and if you want more noise...just hit up mike from the power pipe group, you'll be hard pressed to find another car as loud as a c63 with 2nd cat delete

Im happy to see the headers + tune c63 beat that CTSV. Poor caddy owner must have been sour lol.

Nice video!

Lol also just realized all that exhaust sound is C63.

You cant be serious. A tuned c63 with header barely beat the CTS-V. Imagine what a modded cts-v will do to that

This is true, boosted cars make power much easier than NA cars.

The C63 AMG is my first non-turbo sports car and I think I'm ready to sell it. I'm looking at getting back into another boosted car. Perhaps a R35 GTR.

No, he's correct. Word on the street is that the V owner pulled his car straight into the garage, shut the door and left the car running. He was found the next morning clutching two pieces of paper in his stiff hands, the crust of dried tears on his cheeks.

At first the papers were thought to be a suicide note...but this is what they read:

really? cause I made 60whp-ish just with a tune, guys with evos and turbo cars at this car meet I goto say they barely got 20-30whp from a tune
