I have attached the PDF (29 pages long).

The PDF attachment includes several photos of both the parts and the installation.

No pricing information yet.

Thousands of dollars for something that should have already been standard to avoid limp mode.....

Do we know what the MSRP on this is exactly, or are we not to that point?

It appears this package takes the black series coolers and includes custom parts to fit them onto the standard C63 dimensions.

Can we bets take on the price? The two coolers are the most expensive parts at around 550 euro each. Figure another couple hundred for the other custom bits and then a little more for all the nuts/buts/little pieces. So maybe 1700 euro or $2400 USD?

Plus eight hours of labor my final guess is $3500 installed (this is a complete guess). More than likely on the low side lol

In AMG's defense, it seems like the cooling issue(s) are hit or miss (when it comes to non-track situations).

For example, these are the temperatures I encounter during "spirited" non-track driving:

As soon as the oil cooler becomes active, the temperatures really do stabilize well.

However, I have indeed read about cooling problems for those that track their cars in warm climates.

My last track day my 507 went into limp mode @ about 300F... my tranny temps were good. So looks like the oil coolers were the problem.

Is this for the facelift cars only?
I'd like to have the vented bottom tray/cladding

Looks totally DIYable. I'd like to try doing it myself maybe. I wonder if they would sell only some of the parts like the oil lines and the center cooler and undertray. I don't plan on tracking the car any longer but I would like better cooling for those hot days...

Thanks zibby43 for posting the bulletin. How did you get it? Very interesting but I think this is more than hit or miss. Too many cars have cooling problems and almost all who track have had issues. I'm glad MB is finally acknowledging the problem, but it's a shame it is not a warranty fix. I love how they state that it is to "allow for... even better cooling......but may not be claimed as warranty or goodwill."

What are your temps during non-spirited driving? I run 212-215F after my car warms up with normal driving around town.

I would also want some concrete data on temps - before and after in an ambient temp range before laying down the cash for this. Not sure I plan on tracking my car, but heat kills engines.

Will this prevent limp mode...does not say or, does it just stave off limp mode a little longer?

Do any of the guys that track their BS cars have the same issue?

I cannot tell how much more thermal efficiencies the new coolers have over the old...?

It would be worth it if they could claim - "you will not have any cooling or overheat issues with this installed" Tough I know - but again depends on the price. I thin the BS guys could be a helpful with data points here...

The modification HAS to be paid by customer because AMG does not imply or advertise that the C63 is a dedicated trackable sports car. Just a 4 door sedan with a big engine. The C63 Black Series is.

At the moment, this package is only for 2012+ cars, including the 507 and excluding the Black Series.

No problem.

During regular, non-spirited driving, my oil temperature will max out at around 221-224 degrees and then drop to 208-210 degrees F. When I'm thrashing the car, the temperature will peak at around 230 degrees F before dropping back to around 212-215 F.

I have a '13 MY sedan.

What is the ambient temperature when you're getting these oil temp readings?

75-85 degrees. The warmer the ambient temperature, the quicker my temperatures "level off." For example, when it's 90+ degrees outside, the oil cooler will become active earlier in the drive and my temperatures "recover" relatively quickly.

Great to see MB coming up with solutions to problems, too bad they can't let anything be affordable haha

i think my oil cooler is permanently on most of the time, 90% of the time if not 100%...... damn its noisy but i love it, its not as noisy as 2008-2011 oil cooler fan, had both side by side and i now started loving mine.......lol

Saw someone here mention he sees 230+ in normal driving and 260-70 when trashing it. I wonder if his oil cooler is even active? Perhaps there's something wrong with the thermostat?

Oilcooler is always on and tuns perfectly, now imagine what those in dubai are running , where its even hotter.

C mode gives 220, s+ 230 and oil cooler is perfectly working keeping everyone cool and happy......... And i have gone to 270 no limp mode

Just curious. Why do tuners not just program the fans to turn on earlier? I know us f-body GM and vette guys can just install a lower thermostat like a 160 degree (what I have in my trans am) and have the ECU programmed to turn on the fans earlier. Seems easy. Does anyone make a lower degree stat for our cars? If not, maybe weistec can make one if they don't?
