Doubt it. And nobody should stick a general fit pod in there. It'd have to be custom made...maybe try and interior shop and see if they can make you a new pillar to match?

If you were to fab it up, I would stick the gauges in the ashtray. Looks so much cleaner and out of the way.

Why?

What do you want to put in an A-pillar gauge pod? Boost gauge? Oil temp (already on the main gauge cluster), I really can't think of anything else. I don't get it.

IMHO it would look like something you would see on a tuner car.

However if that's your thing, keep in mind that the A-pillars have air bags in them. Anything you mount on the A-pillar may have adverse effects on the function of the airbag in the event of it's deployment.

Anything you mount on an air bag may have adverse effects on your cranium in the event... OUCH.

I saw this is a thread before but I plan on making something to fit in the ashtray area.

Yeah, it looks like you are correct. The "Airbag" emblem is at the top of the A-Pillar. But I suspect the air bag itself is in the headliner. It's hard to be certain because the roof in that area is not really any thicker than the A-Pillar so I could see it being located in either spot. The pictures I found online don't really clarify the deployed airbag's installation location. I would certainly verify that before making any modifications.

Your not keeping your eye on your boost gauge for too long. A well executed Ash-tray pod is always a "cleaner" looking install IMHO compared to the A Pillar.

Here is the custom pod by shardul that Blown63 referred to. Maybe PM him.
