I miss my AMG, buy another?

There is a XFR in 4 door isn't it? I recall seeing one outside our Range Rover dealership last week when I was down picking up our new Range. That thing looked menacing. I believe it might have been the XFR-S. I don't know much about their engine specs or anything though. I would take a look at that as well OP.

Is it too expensive then? Why are you not considering one of those? I love the coupe's but if they have an equivalent sedan then should check them out.
EDIT: Just saw your previous post. All I gotta say about that is, if it's BARELY out of of your comfort zone, I would seriously think about it. Cause if you do happen to like it so much that you end up keeping it a while then it may be worth the step up, especially if it's minor.

Well in this case i think it all comes down to what you want. You don't seem to know exactly as for now?
My advice would be to take a deep thinking and make a decision. Do you want a track/show/daily driver car? long/short term? spending cap ? etc... )

I've looked at a few of the XFR-S'... Again, I think that might be a car that is JUST out of my comfort zone for spending because of the RS4 and the loss I'd take there.
As for the 507... That is tough for me. It comes with some more power which you can get out of a tune anyway. I'd rather get a 2012 C63 for much less, tune it, put wheels on it, lower it, and grab a 507 hood and still pay less than I would for a 507.
Maybe if I can sell the 911 and just drive the RS4 for a year I'd be able to save up a sizeable down payment for the E63/M5 and end up with monthly payments similar to a C. My biggest fear I guess is just that AMG will do something we don't really see coming with the w205 and I'll be kicking myself for not having one of those

With the C400 being released as well, I fear the MSRP is gonna be quite hefty on the AMG, especially for those more conscious of price.

I don't know what to expect with the pricing. However, I feel like the CLA45 was a bit steep so the C may follow suit.
I'd keep this car long term. I think I just need to take the time to find these cars in my area and test drive all of them. My issue has been getting into a car, taking it for a spin, then signing the dotted line. Hell, I didn't even test drive the C63 but I just knew I wouldn't regret it.
The closest XFR-S to me is 1200 miles away on cars.com... This should get interesting

I would not consider a CLS63 if I were you. I had the opportunity to track all 2014 AMG's. I can safely say that the only car that was a real dissapointment was the CLS63. It was so soft. On the other end of the spectrum, the car that most suprised me was the E63-S wagon. The wagon felt as at home on the track as the C63.
That said, I would test drive an E63 if I were you.

Also, here are some must haves:
- MUST be 4 door. I don't want an SUV either, just sedans. Nothing long either (S class, 7 series, A8, etc. I have a short garage that couldn't fit a 7 series)
- MPGs, well, if I could have it all then that would be the perfect car. Not too worried here either. The C63 had the best MPG of my past few cars.

As mentioned, I don't track my cars so that doesnt matter for me. I just do some pulls on the highway/street and maybe a spirited turn here and there. So, circuit track performance really doesn't mean anything to me.

Out of the ones listed, I'd go for the S6. Great looks, and quick out the box.
Just sell me your RS4 first. I too would like to go down to one car.
I would have a really hard time parting with your duo.
Me too that penguin smack down is funny.

I had a 2002 996 turbo before I got my C63. I enjoy my 2013 C63 much more than my turbo. Sure the turbo was a more expensive car when new but I bought mine in 2007 for about what I paid for my new C63. For one thing the amg is much newer and I don't have the impending doom of the intermediate shaft going on the Porsche. Also the 996 style is nowhere near as nice as the 997 and the interior is much better also in the newer turbos. You just cant beat the sound of the amg though. My C63 is the first car I bought in a long time I didn't regret later.
good luck with your decision

And the Porsche is going away to be sold Thursday! Hope it sells quick.
I think, however, #1 on the list right now is the m5. They are much cheaper than the e63 right now. If I can't find an m5 then I'll be in a facelift c hopefully soon. Ill keep updating!

I've tried several times to find the "perfect car" that suited all my needs in all situations, and each time I thought I had it nailed, I realized that two cars did the job better than any single one.
I will admit, however, that if it was just one single car that I wanted to do the job, I'd probably go with either the BMW M5 or the Caddy CTS-V. That being said, the new M5 has lost much of it's raw edge compared to something like the C63 (and nowhere near something like a 996T). I think the CTS-V keeps a bit more of that pure sports sedan mentality, and they're not piping exhaust noises into the cabin like BMW is.
The C63 itself wasn't quite good enough as my sole vehicle....it lost out on some practicality compared to a sedan or SUV, and it wasn't quite sports-car enough for regular track days (the lack of a proper manual spoiled it for me). That being said, if you want just one car. I"d go either C63 sedan (mine's a coupe, so some practicality was sacrificed for that) or the CTS-V.
The Audi RS4 you have is a good car, but it's 7 years old, so I can understand the desire for something more "up to date". If Audi had an updated RS4 it might be a good choice (the S4 just isn't the same car at all).
Personally, I like your combination of current cars....fun, sporty, but still a V8 practicality in the RS4, plus the raw power and performance of the 996 (especially with the 997 exterior, which is much better looking than the 996).
But that's just me.
I still say the CTS-V would be good....and a Maserati Quattroporte could be good as well. Ferrari engine, 4-door practicality, and an awesome sound going for a drive around town. Nice interior on them as well, and reliability generally shouldn't be much different than the C63.

I had a c63 sedan already so I know the story there. The best thing the c63 has going for it is the fact it is the cheapest I am looking at.
2 cars is expensive so I'd like to save some money too.

two options I would add are the audi s6/s7 and the porsche panamera. The audi you can probably get new or very lightly used at 75k. same motor as the RS models too! and practical, fast, 4 door, awd.
Panamera is a little large but the driving dynamics is very good. I think you can pick up a used 2010-2011 4s for around 75k

Keep the porsche for couple more months as they're now appreciating until the new C63 is unveiled, then sell it and buy a 507 or save some money and buy a PP C63. 2012 C63s are dropping in market price. Good examples with around 10K miles are selling for high 40s, and they will drop even more in few more months.
Factor in their age as some of them are actually 3 yo cars, and it's being replaced fairly soon.
I have an interested party for my 507 and if I sell it, I'll buy another C63 by year's end. Maybe a BS w/o the aero.
