Weistec Stage 3 Supercharged C63 Black Series at Daytona *PICS INSIDE*
Check out a few pictures of how a Weistec Stage 3 Supercharged C63 Black Series terrorized the Daytona 24 Hour Circuit with ease!
Many of our customers inquire about faster lap times, especially with our supercharger systems. Recently at the Daytona Speedway Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge, the JRCART C63 Black Series put down the fastest laps in the rear wheel drive advanced class and came in 2nd place for overall vehicle design!
Weistec and Mercedes AMG definitely had a presence at Daytona!

Awesome photos guys!
These photos were taken at the Optima Battery Ultimate Street Car Association ( ultimatestreetcarassociation.com ) event at Daytona International Speedway a couple weeks ago. I drove my SLS BS and Steve from Weistec ran my C BS. Steve did a great job especially considering it was his first time at that track. The only car faster than him in the advanced class was that white tt 997 (I run in the top expert class). I believe Steve finished the event 14th overall and I finished 7th overall out of over 50 cars. There are some VERY fast "street" cars at these events. and the events combine many disciplines, autocross, acceleration/braking competition, high speed road course and a road rally.
There is an event at California Speedway this weekend and one at my home track Road America next weekend, there are still openings for both events. I am not doing California but I am doing Road America. Lets get some more AMG's out there at these events.
Thanks again to Weistec for taking the time out of thier busy schedules to fly 4 of their employees out to support me at these events. Ever since Weistec burst onto the scene with their SC's a few years back people have questioned how they perform on road courses. Well hopefully by me doing these highly competitive events and placing in the top 5(4th place overall Texas Motor Speedway in April) and 10 in all the evetns I have participated in will demonstrate that the Weistec systems are great for street, strip or road course. Temps were close to 100 degrees with near 100% humidity at Daytona, I am not going to lie, the oil temps were running a little higher than normal but considering the track abuse and ambient temps and the fact that neither car went into limp mode speaks volumes about the product. I do not think you could have found more harsh conditions and if there were a weak link we would have found it that weekend. Looking forward to Road America, I have run thousands of laps there so if I have a shot at winning one of these events it;s that one.

One last thing I forgot to mention. All these events will be televised on MAVTV starting in early September. They are filming the series now. Its a reality based program called The Search For The Ultimate Street Car.
