depending on if size is an issue. Id go after a lightly used S600, or S65. They are damn near the same, slight brake size difference, body and wheels. Just put a tune on the 600 and it's just as good. Excellent car for comfort and performance, specially if it wont be track'd. Maint. does get expensive but just get a good extended warranty. E63 wagon comes to mind also. The problem with the cls is the low roof line in the back seats, makes them pretty much large enough for kids only unless all your friends are tiny asians.

As mentioned before. 2012 CLS 63.
CTS-V is very fun, I have a friend who runs 10.3 and daily drives it, but you cannot beat the design of the CLS !

I pleaded with him to get the Weistec E63...hell I want it that car it is at a good price for sure and OMG everything is done. 704RWHP.
However in a very sad conclusion to this story my buddy took a different interest in cars types. He is seriously looking at a BMW 435i or ISF Lexus. Sorry that hurt me to type out. But they are actually nice cars. I know the 80K supercar dream what happened?
Well if anyone was to spend that kind of money for a car we just had a great practice lap and we were able to find the best car on the planet for that price range. Weistec's E63 sedan at $82K. Thanks for everyone's input and opinion very interesting choices.

I guess your friend didn't really want the BEST performance sedan. They are nice but when it's time to drop the hammer, neither of those cars can really run with the big boys. The 435i has the POTENTIAL to be a monster, but based on the fact that your friend is looks at those cars and ignored the Weistec E63, I doubt he would mod a 435i.
Yes you are correct. He decided to take a more practical route in terms of daily driver usage and gas mileage. Sad but I tried to convince him otherwise, not my money. I now want that Weistec E63 but momma says I better unload a couple cars before I get anymore. 72 Chevelle and a C63 for sale in a couple months that'll get me there.
