Mode carbon or JL motoring big fin diffuser

Please forgive me if it has been discussed earlier but I cant seem to find a recent thread so here we go:
I am shopping around for a CF diffuser and while the reviews for mode carbon are great, I think I will prefer to have more aggressive fins which the JL motoring diffuser has. But as far as JL motoring is concerned, I have not heard rosy things about the customer support and quality of the product.
Has anyone recently installed a JL motoring big fin diffuser? I think the diffuser looks great in pictures but haven't seen one yet in person. For me, quality and customer service will take precedence over big or small fins. Would be great if folks could chime in.

I think people have said the quality is good/decent on JL motoring diffusers but the customer service isn't that great.

Do a quick google search of JL Motoring. The BMW guys aren't too fond of the company.

Nicholas called me out of business hours to get my order.

Did you look at the VFR one? I purchased the big fin and the service, packaging, everything turned out and I'm happy with the product.

I just ordered a cf trunk spoiler. I ordered from them before no problem. They respond to emails and their product was good.

The only company I've worked with is Mode Carbon.

Their products are outstanding and so is the customer service. Nicholas and Sam are very easy to reach, either via phone or email.

Consequently, Mode Carbon is the only company I'll buy from when it comes to carbon fiber aesthetic modifications.

You recently installed Mode carbon diffuser and were not too happy about the size of the fins, correct?

Totally agree. I have purchased a trunk spoiler from them in the past and the quality is top notch and Nicholas was very communicative. Maybe, thats an added reason for me to buy Mode carbon so that the two products will be more cohesive. If it were not for the smaller fins on Mode carbon, I would not have created this thread.

I guess lufstrom is only for FL and not for pre-FL. They still sell their pre-FL diffuser but it is not very aggressive.

Yes but if you were to go from oem to MC, you would love the MC. I went from oem to big fins to MC.
But the MC has grown on me and will not be coming off my car. The quality is unmatched and the fins actually fit the class of the car better IMHO.

You need to update the picture in your sig then

OP MC is great quality and customer service but the pre-FL diffuser is outdated in my opinion. They need to redesign it.
I can't comment on JL motoring.

Will be updated as soon as I grab some good pics of a clean car.

I got my big fins from serge at benzworks. he says he gets them from the same vendor that JL does. I like mine, fit and quality are good to my eyes. mind you, I have never seen an MC in person, though.

This and that.
I got my big fins from ebay and it looks aggressive as hell. Way more than MC or JL I think cause of the way the fins are designed. Almost makes the exhausts look too small which is the only bad thing about it. I posted pictures in another thread I will see if I can find them.

I agree with you. MC is not as aggressive as JL, but at the same time, the fins are more pronounced when compared with OEM.

I agree with you as well. While the Lufstrom looks great on the FL cars, the pre-FL is lagging behind a bit in terms of an update.

Yea which is why I said it's almost too big. That's the only thing about this one that I don't like. It hovers over the inner exhaust.

I have used JL Motoring for the past 4 years for many products, never had one issue with the products or the customer service.

I currently have the big fin diffuser on my 507. Again, had no issues. Looks great and fit great. Plus, for the prices, you can't beat them.

4 front lips
6 rear diffusers
