Charcoal delete help!!!

Was having a bad day, so I probably should not have attempted this. Went well but I have two issues:

1.) Hair line crack from pulling the cover off (the aesthetic one)
2.) One of the metal clips from the same cover fell and I can't find it.

But I did notice it sounds better!!! Nice gurgle to it.

Will the two issues above be anything to worry about?

Any help will be greatly appreciated it as I am stressing over this.

This and that.
Can more people confirm that doing this actually makes any difference to the sound of the car? I just find it hard to believe....

Lost a clip on mine and found it a year or two later nested in some cranny at the top front of the engine between the oil filter housing and the power steering reservoir...lol

Now if I could just find that wire loom bracket bolt that fell ????....LOL

If you cant find the clip, here is a replacement that works.

Has anyone found a shop or dealer to do this? I am usually a DIY guy, but mods such as this kinda makes me nervous and I don't really trust myself to do it right the first time.

If you are a DIY-er this will be the easiest DIY you ever try!

It seems easy, only thing I'm worried about is making sure the cover is screwed back on properly.

I got rid of the charcoal filter by going with the ROW airboxes. I can't tell a difference in sound. Maybe it's the placebo effect. I won't believe there is a sound difference until someone measures it and posts the decibels.

Let me just say, don't be worried bro. To me... There is only one way to install it. If you screw it down wrong you shouldn't have access to a tool set.
