I'm looking for good local shop recommendations for a brake caliper paint job in the South FL area. Does anyone here know of some quality shops around here for this?
Thanks!

If you don't find a decent place we can offer to paint our core set and send them out negating the majority of down time.
Let me know if you are interested and I can get you some options, pictures, pricing and time lines.

Yes, go to EuroWerks in Pompano Beach. They are dedicated to their work and will get anything you request done. They are not only a paint shop but a bodyshop as well.Originally Posted by AMGer

They charge $400(I think?) for brake caliper painting. The cost is a bit pricey because they actually take the calipers off the car and powder-coat it. They don't perform it the improper way of taping off the surrounding areas of the car and painting it while it is on the car.

What do they do about the seals? Replace them after the calipers come out of the oven?Originally Posted by w204_Generic

Isn't curing ~400 F for 10 minutes or so
The seals are exposed to much higher than that for longer periods during normal operation
Maybe they disassemble it?
Pull the seals & pistons

I am not sure what they do about the seals, but I am pretty sure they do a complete disassemble.
I have such little knowledge of what they actually do, what I said is what I only know..heard much positive feedback on his services about painting the calipers, that's why I can vouch for them.
Unrelated, but he painted my side markers and pretty much everything else on my car in addition to any other modifications you see on my car.
To the OP, I private messaged you the shop owner's number, so if you want to go there for the painting.

Thank you for the replies. I will need to do some research myself. I want to make sure it's shop that will do it right the first time with a paint job that will last. Tal@ACGAutomotive you got PM.

Champion Motorsport in Pompano Beach did mine. First class shop - part of Champion Porsche. Naveen and the boys there are great.
