Sportauto is wrong. If they can't get something basic like that right it calls into question all of their "results." C63s don't weigh over 4100 lbs. Many have been weighed, they come in a hair under 4000 fully loaded. The new M3 just got weighed and it's just shy of 3600. That's 400 lbs difference. If sportauto is your only source they're about as accurate and reliable as a random number generator.

that is >220 lbs and puts is close to BMW's press release

sportauto supertest is the benchmark
no US numbers that can't be replicated

sport auto scale weighs the cars
they have the C63 at 3950 or s0
the M4 at 3370 or so

BMW says the new powertrain, along with the M4's curb weight of around 3,300 pounds, will deliver zero to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds.

• Weight of car with fluids at 100% and fuel at 90%. Driver included in type approval and official documentation. However the defintion of "Mass of the vehicle" does not include driver, but the EU-Directive defines that the weight of the driver (75kg) shall be included in type approval applications. The weight is given for the base vehicle with no options mandatory for the kerb weight.

(these do not include the 75 kg for typing)
The EU type approval number for the M3/M4 is: e1*2007/46*0377*06 and e1*2007/46*0377*07
These are the minimum weights listed in the type approval specs:

M3 DCT - 1560kg
M3 6MT - 1520kg

M4 DCT - 1537kg
M4 6MT - 1497kg

Hmm is it me or does the M3 with a tune seem quite a bit slower then the OE tune only c63? I mean look @ the 60 foot times lol thats quite a bit difference 1.7 to 2.4

his alpha tune (just a boost controller at the moment) raised boost 6psi.

no changes to advance or anything else as far as i know

probably but what you want to focus on are the trap speeds, not quarter mile times. this is what we've been debating.


quarter mile times (ET) are affected by traction, traps shows us raw power and speed.

all motor, no blower, no NOS


6 psi of boost will destroy that motor, it has a high Cr to begin with
it is running on E20, not gasoline, not 91 octane, not 93, not 100, something like 110-120 right?
