Just finally and I mean finally pulled out a 2011 C63 I mean I been off about this car since they released in 08 but whatever the case its mine now I been gas happy recently and been thinking about taking her to the Qtr mile vs some friends (SoonToBeRivals) any who wanted to know what's the tips to get everything out of this beast I know the charcoal filters I know all the tuning numbers considering OE tune very very soon but as of stock basically best way to launch it should I use paddle shifters? Basically anything helps till then will be waiting on a reply and hurting Neighbors ears everytime I hit the throttle out of the driveway 😄👍

Also don't throttle out of the driveway too crazy when the engine is cold. The computer likes 175 degrees for oil temp before anything wild. There is a lot of power coming out of these cars to really throttle it when cold.

How new are your tyres?
If you have new tyres then put gearbox in S mode, traction control on the "sport" setting, left foot on brake, build the revs up to just over 1000rpm (say 1100rpm), and off you go.
That was by best launch, anything higher and just crazy wheelspin

Yea I was launching her at about 800 rpm I only had the car for a while and I realized obviously 2000 RPMs wasn't a proper launch either so I'll give that a go a buddy told me 2500 RPM he's obviously not bright.. Lol

Oh well I know that for the most part I was talking about driving in and this is my first post so please excuse me for not having enough detail basically what I'm trying to gather is every tip I can from guys that have lots of experience with these cars I always wanted one now got it and honestly fearful of losing but I have beat a CTS V at a traffic light if that's worth anything lolol

That CTS Vs are quick, so good job there. The key in these cars is to be gentle on the throttle from a dig. The tires are just so small in the back for all of that power without any momentum.

Hahaha! You can try that launch, but guarantee you that you will go nowhere!
It largely depends on your tyres, if they are new then my technique should work well

Good tread tyres, perfect launch you'll get yourself a low 12 - high 11 with a Stock C63.

For mods, do filters, charcoal delete, tune and so on... the list never ends!

I might be adding a 295 or 305 on Rear and was wondering if it's worth it ?

that is like a 25 mm spacer
a 12mm is tight

Check out this list for extending the life of your car. It's kind of general and applies to most cars but I thought it was great. Some of the things are common sense reminders but other things like starting and actually driving the vehicle through the warm up instead of a long idle, may not be conventional but make a lot of sense.

Also, you may know this but I am in the habit of waiting until the oil temp light stops blinking (at 175 degrees F) before giving it moderate throttle.

This could be wishful thinking, but I have a theory that if the car is driven properly by allowing it to warm up and not stomping on it between gear changes, it will last a long time. Some might disagree, but I think this baby can last 2-300k miles with basic maintenance. Again, maybe wishful thinking. Built for a track but I believe it is overbuilt for the road to last.

mechanical sympathy goes a long way
I usually don't flog until oil temp > water temp which occurs around 195 F
that way everything is hot: engine, tranny, diff, wheel bearings, etc.
and even then I ease into it
