C63 vs bolt on Evo x

Just wanted to show a video of a stock 451hp C63 AMG vs a bolt on Evo x to demonstrate how N/A cars loose power at altitude. The C63 should be making 350-360whp at sea level. The Evo makes 300awhp
Both cars start in 2nd gear
Elevation is 3500ft

Turbo cars are going to suffer at altitude. I had a 400whp sti tuned at sea level that I brought on a trip to Denver. Felt like a Prius.

N/A cars are way worse sadly haha. I use to commute for work from my 3500ft to 800ft level and the power difference was so surprising its crazy. I actually almost use to rear end people in stop and go traffic because my throttle input gave so much more power than I am use to lol.

Yeah altitude is an absolute killer for N/A cars!
Bought my car at the coast, drove up to the reef and my car felt like it was going nowhere!
Turbo cars suffer much much less at altitude

This and that.
Hate the high altitude of Calgary area...I guess I don't even know how quick my C63 really is cause I've only ever driven it in Alberta. What's the closest area around here that isn't as high and would make a noticeable difference in the cars performance?

Fort Mac is 800ft.

Otherwise I think Vancouver. Not really sure what is closest.

Interesting...maybe I will do a BC road trip some time to Kelowna or something. I go to Fort Mac every now and then but always end up renting a car in order to avoid the unnecessary mileage and ****ty roads.

Vancouver is the closest. Technically, the west end of the coquahalla in Hope is the closest. Everywhere else you're still at 1000ft plus which robs power.

I can only hit about 430hp on my power meter on the best of days in my Black Series in Calgary. Pegged at 510 in Vancouver. The car's a beast at sea level.

Edit - Kelowna is still 1000+ ft.

I had an Evo 8. Loved that damn car. Wish I still had it. Admittedly, it was more fun than the 63. Had a go cart on steroids feel that made you feel giddy when you pushed the go peddal. Awesome handling!

Doesn't surprise me to watch a X pull on a 63. We're much heavier and bolt ons really pull the power out of the little shi+ box.

C63 AMG vs Mitsubishi Evolution X - YouTube
This is kinda dumb from OP considering A C63 easily stomps Evo. It takes an extremely modded Evo to outdo a stock C63. Silly Ricers always bragging using videos of stocked vs’ mod or videos of bad driver driving the better car, lol 🤦🏻‍♂️ Fun fact tho, Mercedes came up with the “Evo” name first, once Mercedes started making engines (the irony) for Mitsubishi, Mitsubishi was granted permission to use the “Evo” marque on it’s tuned ****box lancer💁🏻‍♂️
