Hmmm. I like my stock ride much better but I prefer the slightly lower look. My H&R coilovers are a bit softer than the original P30 suspension which I do miss.
I think changing the springs ONLY will be much better as it retains the stock compression and rebound of the P30 shocks ?

You must like a really stiff ride
The h&r shocks/struts aren't adjustable are they?
They sounded like the perfect mod
Lower but better ride

damn, you guys are good over here. Fast and clean and out of here. At 60, and having really owned a lot of cars, I can tell you, if you are still young and working hard. Don't buy a lot of cars and spend a lot of money on them and you might be able to retire at 60. That isn't me. But I had fun in them all. Now I will continue to work until 70 and maybe I will get to retire then...lol But, I still have a few cars....

The ride is as important as the destination
And the destination is the same for everyone lol
It's not 'work' if you enjoy it
My advice: if you don't enjoy your job or can't learn to, better find something else
It's like being stuck in a bad marriage
I'll 'work' in some capacity til I can't, by choice, not because I have to
Work is good for the soul imho
Not 'having' to do something somehow makes it more enjoyable lol
A 16 year old fantasizing about retiring at 38 is in for a big dose of reality lol
He hasn't even started yet and is planning to retire
I never really thought about and it's on the horizon now
But I was frugal, sort of just worked out
What did John Lennon say?
Life is what you miss while planning
Or something like that

Comments like "my daily driven Rolls Royce" or whatever are dead giveaways because no one with a rolls would feel the need to remind the peons that not only do they have a rolls, but it is a throwaway daily driver. I don't call people out myself because I enjoy the discussion about the cars regardless of ownership. Six speed and other high end car forums are full of imposters.
2007CL63AMG I doubt you'll post again, but no doubt you are going to read the thread so please do yourself a favor and don't waste more time with characters...pickup a guitar, hell any musical instrument, a sport, a hobby...anything. You're young don't waste your time looking for attention on the internet like some hot girl taking a selfie.

A grown man posing as an underage boy to elicit sympathy
He's either a kid or an imbecile
I'm hoping kid, at least he can grow out of that
An imbecile is stuck lol

I admit it. I'm a 16 year old boy: An extremely smart one at that. This is not my first time making up characters on the internet, I've done this at least eight or nine times before. I don't know exactly why I do it: perhaps I feel that by pretending to be someone else people will like me better. I just don't know. Whatever the case, I can impersonate whoever I want extremely well due to my awesome writing skills. It seems the charade is over here however. I'm sorry for wasting all of your time. Unfortunately, I don't think this will be the last character I'll make because I like it too much.

This kit is only height adjustable and no rebound adjustments. Ride is definitely smoother than P30 since you can tell it's not as jarring. But a slight drop and descent handling makes it acceptable. :-)

Don't you miss certain ride stiffness from your BMWs? I had KW v3 on my BMW so I was able to adjust accordingly. I only did either springs or torsion bars on my past Pcars but the ride remained the same...stiff.

Ha! I guess I got used to the BMW and Porsche suspension rides. P30 Is harsh but I can't compare to another one so I wouldn't know :-/

A member has a used h&r coil over set for sale
It's got me thinking
I want about 8-10 mm drop and judging from where you set yours sounds doable
Now if I can get you to fly up to help me put it on lol

Great detective work guys!
@OP, if I were you, or maybe I can pretend to be you while you're pretending to be a retired 38 yo with a used car lot... or eight other people. I would seek professional help immediately. You may be suffering from Schizophrenia or Dissociative identity disorder, and there are meds that can help.
You'd be surprised How many other people are out there suffering from such mental illnesses.
Your show here brings back memories of a Brazilian kid who bought a SLS BS. He claimed that his dad and he owned a collection of cars and he started to give business management lectures on his thread.
You're not alone. Best of Luck.

Anyway, my new plan is as follows- I will make a new account and completely immerse myself in the community. This time I will be a poor city boy who lucked his way into getting his first high paying job. At first things go well for him and he buys himself a brand new Mercedes. Overtime, he loses his job, has to sell the house and the car, but he can't go back to being poor so he fakes his death, leaves the country and has his wife collect the insurance money.

Your writing "skills" need some work too.
I write for a living. Now, I am not saying your writing skills are poor. Far from it. My point is this: do not become complacent.
Writing is a skill, an art, that takes years to master. You have not mastered the art of writing by age 16.
You can keep up the character bit but do it in a private journal. Car forums are not the venue to write fiction. Good luck.

LMAO, this thread has been entertaining to say the least. Who has more time on their hands? The kid with the pseudo profile or the detectives here that uncovered the plot?
Either way, whether true or false, If we could own 11 cars, responsibly able to afford them and so forth, we would. We would build a garage big enough to house all of them and so forth. I laughed my *** off reading this and all the detective work placed by others. Kudos to all!!!

Honestly, this is all too common. I know "second hand". I have a relative (cousin-in-law) that poses on Facebook and Instagram. This person claims an education that was never earned, is an "Abercrombie Model", Invester/Entrepreneur, and even denounces race/claims another. He borrows my cars (I have some not listed) to take out girls and posts pictures claiming they are his. My wife gets a kick out of tracking down his false personas on FB/IG (it's her cousin). She calls him out, he deletes it and creates another. I used to let him throw parties at my house, my son (then 7) had more girls on him than anyone.
Back in the day I had a friend that used my pictures to meet girls online. When I found out I was kinda pissed, but I was single at the time (by choice, I was all about friends with benefits) and he had all these girls lined up that wanted to meet. It ended up working out because I'd meet up with them when I had nothing better to do and he just wanted to hook up with the "leftovers" (their friends).
