Stock Rear Diffuser Paint code?
If you are interested in buying one, I can sell you my oem... Needs brackets but you have yours from your oem.
If interested in painting it, why not just paint it to match the roof trim (gloss black)?

Or get a new one as I would sell you mine cheap. Like $100 shipped cheap, depending on where you live of course. Not shipping this to Russia for that but you get my point.
But just for "giggles".
Since I am new here I reached out to ECSTuning to find out a price on a new "rear diffuser" because just like you I thought it is black plastic - I will just buy a new one. See Link http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Site...aign=postreply
It says, "comes in primer ready to paint". I asked ECSTuning aren't they all black? He said, "As for the rear diffuser, the only way I have it available from Mercedes is in primer. You will have to have it painted black."
Not that I did not believe ECSTuning but like I said I am ignorant so I did some more searching and found numerous parts supplier web sites that say the same thing for part number 204 885 4525. Not going to take the time to link them for you - would have thought that some "research" would have been done before being "slammed".
So today I go to my local MB dealer and ask the parts guy the same question - he says yup you gotta have it painted it comes in gray primer only. I said can you give me the Paint Code - he says it does not come up with a paint code on his order "form" but that it has to be 040 (which is Black Clearcoat) and tells me to call his body shop to confirm. So I call the body shop and this guy says that they use 040 paint code but with a Matte Clear Coat.
There I have an answer - not feeling 100% so I will call some more Mercedes body shops tomorrow.
I got r trim black spray from my local body shop and scuffed in and re shot it. After 1 1/2 yrs it looks better than new.
I'll snap pics and post tomm.
If you like paypal me the amount which I will ask them and shipping and I'll send it over to ya.
The stuff is bullet proof.

I am wondering if the item is listed as primer gray as in the color of the item, not "primered gray" as in the physical form of it.
Mine is not painted, I guarantee it.
