Talking Got my new shoes - Klassen M52Rs

Hey all - finally got my new shoes balanced and on the car. They're 19" Klassen M52Rs (9" front, 10" rear), with 245 and 275 Hankook Ventus Evos. Finish is textured black. Car is stock height (not sure I can do a drop as there is about 1/2 a finger space now front and back by feel, but no rubbing issues at all presently, even over speedbumps ). Love the wheels, love the rear concavity.

Kudos to Michael & Dayne at Acute Performance for the wheel/tire package, and kudos to Frank at Klassen for outstanding wheels and service all around.

Sorry the car is a bit dirty!

Man those are a nice addition to the C63. I do think a drop would finish the look for sure.

Thanks, I'd love to do it but by feel there ain't NO room left in the wheel wells, unless I carve up some of the weather protection stuff in the rear (which seems to add support to the rear bodywork, actually), and the front I don't know how I'd do it as there is maybe 1/2" from inner tire edge and some of the suspension. Maybe a thinner tire, but maybe just have to live with it for now...

Not positive of your tire sizes but if they are 245/35 front and even a 275/30 rear with proper wheel offsets you could drop that thing a good inch with springs or dump it properly with some KW V3's with absolutely NO issues

You can definitely drop your car. What are your offsets?

Thanks all. You know, I have NO idea what the offsets are. I was told that Klassen knows what offsets to use, and other than that they wouldn't share offset #s... Strange perhaps, but true (not sure if it's 100% accurate). The fitment is great, but it is darn tight with stock suspension (may be hard to believe).

I was surprised when feeling around the new tires for clearance at just how little room there was, always closer to the centerline of the car. So in the rear, the tire was 1/2" from touching the wheelwell lining material on the inside edge of the tire, at about the 10:00 position if you're facing the driver's side rear. On the fronts, the issue was again close to centerline, but this time against a piece of the suspension (bottom part of the strut or something, I have no idea about auto anatomy here, sorry), and again about 1/2" from touching. I drove around after mounting to listen for any rubs, and don't think I heard anything, even over speed bumps.

I can't imagine going lower (although I'd like to ), and I don't think spacers would help as I think I'm about as far out right now as possible. I'll take some more shots front-to-back to see what the outside of the wheels looks like relative to the quarterpanels tomorrow. Maybe that'll help with ideas for what to do next

Klassens aren't cheap wheels and they have done a few C63s before so I am sure their fitment is perfect, you might need to go down to 265s so not to rub, but you need to know the offset first.

Looking at the concavity of the rear, it doesn't look ultra aggressive so you should be right lowering, but there is literally only millimetres in it when you get to this stage.

U will be fine lowering, I'm running 19x9 +40 w/245/35/19 & 19x10 +50 w/275/30/19 PSS lowered on h&r springs. No rubbing.

Find our ur offset, but I bet they are the same as my set. Looks great but a drop will set it off perfectly.
