Which one, 2015 C63 or 2014 507 Edition
I have ordered my 507 on the weekend, which will be arriving in March (2015). Here in Australia, options are limited on what you can choose on the 507, with the 2015 spec we recieve the driving assistance package (radar, blind spot assist etc) which did not come standard on 2013/2014 models.
Not a fan of the new W205, Sold my A45 due to having first year bugs and issues!

yes 15 coupes are 507s (in Canada)....
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
If you're gonna get a TT V8... Get an F10 M5. Or a E63 AMG S. The new C63 is too watered down from the other new 63 cars. I will make this one last a year or two, then pick up a M5 or something like that.

I was driving a buddy to work when one came up beside me, from a roll we were pretty even for a bit, but **** does that AWD help.
Just noticed you're from Calgary. Sick. Keep an eye out for the licence plate "EHEMGEE", thats me!
I drive my C63 in winter, I run studded tires.

I will definitely say hi to you. Just don't push me on the road and drive safe
The first of any new model is not going to be a classic unless it is revolutionary - which it is not. So better to buy the 507 and enjoy the last of the NA giant killers, then buy a W205 in a few years when they're good for 530kw (2 x CLA45) in tuned form and enjoy the benefit of incremental improvements.

There are not many around here, didn't see any in Zurich, top of Italy, Croatia, in Dubai, on the GC in Australia, and only 3 back here in NZ (including mine) over the last 2 months. Maybe you have a nest of them somewhere nearby.
My money is on the 507 being worth more in 5 years time than a new generation C63 that is going to evolve over the next decade, there will be a lot more . Not that it matters, as I could be wrong.
Personally I'd be looking to get into the new platform down the track and enjoy that awesome never to be repeated NA 6.2

Doesn't detract from the car, its an awesome beast, but I dont expect mine to retain much value, even though it is a sedan.

An example is the power seat motor movement on the new C class. Use it and compare it to that of the W204. What do you notice? Less precise. More noise. This is because they are using a cheaper part.
I don't know if this is the extent of the cost cutting, but it's not a good sign.
Sure, the new C looks like a baby S class, but I can assure you the parts used are very different.
The 2015 is a huge step up from the old one. Tuned they are going to be fantastic.
