I haven't seen the new W205 interior in person but one change which made my W204 feel more up-to-date was to replace all the interior lights with LED's...
It gave it a much more modern appearance IMHO.

This is who I went with... http://www.precisionled.com/mercedes...2008-2013.html
With a new 507 on order, it'll probably come with LED's in the rear license plate lights and also the map lights.
I went with the 6000K option as I was told the 8000K were a bit 'blue' looking.
There's a YouTube video on the page which shows how to change most of them... the hardest ones by far (IMHO) are the rear vision mirror puddle lights.
You may want to get your service centre to do these. I did mine but the amount of force you need to apply to remove the covers is frightening...
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I changed most of my interior to LED about a month after I got the car, and it makes it look much better. I could never do the rearview ones though.

There are two things I don't like about my C63C, 1 being its interior (looks way outdated next to my S4's interior), and 2 that God awful panoramic roof.

IMO the 507's interior is outdated, however since Mercedes is in the business of making money, it is to their advantage to keep refreshing things as soon as they possibly can.

And personally I don't mind the interior of my '14 C63...

I just drove in one yesterday at the MB fascination tour... what a beautiful interior, the digital screen needs a bit of getting used to though.
But what a big disappointment in terms of "fun to drive" factor. Nothing different than driving the S63 sedan. It felt big & overweight.

There's a few guides online that show how to get the covers off.
I was fortunate in that I didn't have to do the map lights (I think that's what they're called) in the internal rear vision mirror. My car already came with LED's installed there.

A little bit of everything, especially the pointless sun-blind (which sagged and had to be replaced under warranty). Ended up tinting the roof... 5%
