Getting exhaust bark on demand?

Just did my v5 tune and maybe I'm a bit of a Luddite but I can't get that lovely bark on demand, I hear it sometimes when I dowbshift to 4th or 2nd to make a turn but when I want to do it intentionally (yes to show off for my mustang and Camaro buddies ) I can't do it

I've heard it randomly in s mode a few times

Any suggestions ? I tried to search but didnt really find what I needed

Its all about getting the rev match at the right rpm. im guessing right around 3200-3500 is the sweet spot.

If you have both S and S+ modes (2012+), does v5 rev-match in both or just in S+ and M?

If you switch manually and the final revs are 4000+, it always does it. So, if you are cruising a6 60 mph in 7th, then switch to 6 you will hear no blip, to 5 probably not either, to 4, small blip, to 3, big blip. Just change down to the right gear and it will do it every time.

Btw, fastest alternative: pull left paddle and hold it until it has switched down enough gears to bark.

if you pull and hold, does it keep downshifting?

Yes, to the lowest 'safe' gear, I.e. It will not let you destroy the motor by revving it to 12,000 rpm....

Yes, this is the quickest way to downshift multiple gears. Pull and hold and it will skip the intermediate gears and as wobble said will select the lowest gear that won't bang you against the rev limiter.

Just got my V5 tune on my 2013 C63 PP. The barks are cool on downshift but it doesn't have the rumble as I decelerate like before??? Car feels more responsive but I woukdn say 30-40hp increase! I know dyno is order for that.
