2015 Corvette Z06, anyone here thinking of one?

Isn't what a person thinks or believes an indication of their intelligence?
If a grown man believes in 'fairy tales' wouldn't that make him mentally challenged or deficient?
There is no difference. That is crazy mumbo jumbo. Lol
If someone believes they are better than a person who believes in 'fairy tales' they are not intelligent, just the opposite, they have a limited intellect and a closed mind.
But hey, you are smarter than everyone
Let me know how that works out for you

Wow, I'm gobsmacked
No, that was a question
You asked if a 14 year old could own those cars
I answered with a question
You can't read minds over wires lol

there are scientists, physicists, doctors that believe in god. (or at least they say they do).
they are obviously intelligent people. how many dumb physicists do you know?
but they hold religious beliefs that fly in the face of the very science they practice.
i dont understand it. i wish i did.

That is pretty much the DEFINITION of intellect!
But they believe in 'fairy tales' and make believe?
The rely on religion as a crutch so they are mentally and psychologically weak and inferior to you?
It has been proven scientifically that there is no god (or that there is)?
It's not science it is faith, not fact.
Perhaps they are right and you are wrong? Never because you are the smartest and got it all figured out lol
I met guys that were like you in the Army, they changed, 'no atheists in a foxhole'
When lying on your deathbed and gasping for another second and you are slipping into the void becoming more inconsequential than you (anyone) already are I'm guessing you will become more enlightened.
Just saying, usually wrong but never in doubt
This guy is a moron

Why o' why do we fight???
What have I learned regarding the Vette? Let's see...
*Stock Vettes are slow
*Published track numbers by various publications are usually exaggerated
*Vette supporters like the use the driving factor/excuse for slow times
I may be missing an additional bullet or two above...who knows, but who cares! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if in some way it clouds their overall automotive perspective.
I've been blessed for being able to currently and previously own M5's/AMG's/Z06's and even an exotic...not counting my early days with 5.0 Mustangs, Turbo Supras, a Grand National, T/A's and Turbo Mitsubishis and a '09 GTR.
ALL of the above cars were fast in their own way. I would never call a Stock Stingray or even the C6Z slow...NO WAY! If anything, stock for stock, they were one of the fastest and frankly, less problematic to own and much cheaper to repair and to modified. Granted, they weren't not the best built in terms of overall interior material usage or sophistication, but I'll be a lying SOB if I told you that they didn't rip a new one into many EURO car lovers.
I've visited many tracks (road and 1/4) during my racing days and I don't ever recall racers calling the Vettes slow...if anything, they respected the car for its stock and certainly modded capabilities. I do recall on numerous street/track occasions seeing 996 and 997 GT3's and even some TT's getting their butts handed by C5Z/C6Z's.
Heck, I almost purchased a 997.1 TT MN in '07 and a Triptronic 99.1TT back in early '09...then drove the C6Z and for the money and pure speed/torque, I decided to jump on the vette. I almost jumped on a low mileage clean used TTS 997.2 back in late 2010, but the dealer decided to play games; I told them to shove it and purchased the GTR instead.
Credit to Porsche though, they change the game in 2010 when they introduced the PDK in the TT/TTS with added power and better calibrations while GM pretty much left the Z06 unchanged (powertrain wise). The new 991 TT/TTS is a beast, but we will see how the C7Z handles it when it arrives. The Corvette vs. Porsche battle has been going on since the 60's; I doubt either camp would call its opponent slow...because they are not!

The vette is within 2 sec of the 991 turbo S at VIR
It is 4 seconds faster than the R8 V10 plus
Both of which cost 3 times as much
Same track
Same day
Same driver
Same testing methods
Can't discount the facts
It is not 'slow as crap'
That is uneducated BS
The main issue is his labelling of people of faith as duped imbeciles who believe in fairy tales
He is smarter than everyone
Usually wrong but never in doubt
The same capacity that it takes to derive the correct answer is exactly the same as the one it takes to RECOGNIZE the correct answer when others point it out
Some posses niether

I met religious people, they are great in numbers
I do not consider my self one though
On the other hand I do not consider them lessor and moronically following fairy tales
You will not be judgemental when confronted by your mortality, you will be terrified by your doubts
You will become enlightened in the sense you were wrong for judging others
Who knows if you will find 'god'
That was Einstein
But you are smarter than him lol

So my advice is to use the natural-sounding “than he is” or “than him,” and save “than he” for the most formal occasions. “Than him” is certainly more usual in conversation and is considered standard by many respected authorities.

I only said it to troll the trolls anyway. You guys can give it up any day now. No one cares.
Z06 looks great. Buy one if you want to.
The end.
