Too many ads!
If I get banned, twas nice knowing ya...
I imagine you won't even get a warning PM for this.
Second, the vendors posts don't bother me at all. I enjoy it actually so I can stay up on current mods.
But what does **** me off are the outside ads that have nothing to do with the forum and completely slow the site down! If that is what you are referring to when you say "ads" them I agree completely.
Trending Topics
But people like $$$

I'd pay 10 bucks a year for no ads and they could still heap them on visitors til they man up and join. Lol
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Like VFR is still bumping their original thread from introducing themselves lol.
What I think is funny is all these companies are still charging an arm and a leg for the mods. I mean come on, $4k for headers... Lol don't they know you can search AP and find them for $2500 on autoplicity now....?
I feel like being an MBWorld member would get us deals not add additional MB markup!

(that's rhetorical, I have a pretty good idea...)
(that's rhetorical, I have a pretty good idea...)My biggest gripe about the "ads" and by ads we mean threads started by a vendor isn't the ad itself, its the "PM FOR PRICING". Why? Why can't we just see the "special" price for everyone in the thread?
A great example of this is Eurocharged. They post their sale and they post the price, right there. No need for PM no need for anything. And unless I am mistaken, thanks to the actual deal they gave mbworld members, alot of us on here are running their tune now.
Other vendors, and I won't name names, like to bump up all their posts at once and suddenly you have three or four threads in a row for one vendor. And guess what, PM FOR PRICING.
I can understand shipping costs but there is no need for me to PM you about say, Vorsteiner parts just because I am curious about how many limbs I need to give up to get them, when I can see the price there. If I like the price I am sure then I can just PM for shipping quote.
So OP either use a private tab or clean you cookies/history/temp files regularly.

I have software that requires me (should I choose that setting) to OK every outgoing connection. If I allow every request to connect, over the course of one hour's browsing I have never see fewer than 221 outgoing connections established. The record high ever has been 616 outgoing connections which included 41 known keystroke loggers. Welcome to the age of Google and Facebook.
