I learned a long time ago to never, ever leave anything visible in your car. Bag, cables, etc. Crack/meth heads will break into a car for anything they can get some cash for.

Damn that blows.. You probably shouldnt have left any valuables in plain sight... I never leave anything like that just sitting in my car, even with my tinted windows, I still dont feel safe with people these days.. GL with the insurance

Damn that sucks! I would browse CL and ebay...You never know. Once I had my laptop and camera stolen by the wings delivery man and 3 days later it was on ebay (listed for sale together lol). I am still using that laptop today lol

So my question is do I also have to pay my homeowners deductible? If so that's no where near worth it to me... If rather just eat it and buy another one.

sorry about that, this totally sucks. I wouldn't bother with the homeowners insurance claim for something like this, your premium will probably go up.

yes, you'd have to pay your deductible for both. it does suck. but at least homeowner's and renter's can cover loss of personal items in the auto.

The worst! -I once had my tires slashed in high school. Lesson learned was dont stick your dick in crazy.
This seemed unavoidable though! I hope everything works out

thats the rub, the homeowners deductible is probably higher than the cost of the tablet.
I'd escalate with the insurance company.

I had the same thing done to me back in the day with my '96 Vette . I found a company near by that had video and showed the scumbag breaking my window . Luckily for me , I recognized the car from around town cuz he was the president of some little mustang car club . A week later , it was raining pretty hard and I saw his car parked at a bowling alley . Now that I am quite a bit older and have a family , I wouldn't do it again.........but at that time , revenge was my main goal and he ended up losing all the windows , including the sunroof

Leave it to the authorities and nothing gets done. Take matters into your own hands, and well, revenge can be bliss, but had this clown found you on video somehow, he may be likely to put a bullet in your ***.
Gotta be careful, but cant say I disagree with your demeanor to say the least!

Consider putting front shades up when parked to really darken the inside. I have that up as well as rear side shades and rear shade up when parked. The only tint being 20% insta-cling for the front side windows. With that combo, it's so dark inside that you have to cup your face around the mirror to see inside.

Yeah, it's garbage. Windows are tinted, parked under a tree in a shaded area, hard to see inside. I was in duncanville unfortunately for work, **** area for sure!
