I may stay there myself.
Only live about 50 away, but I sure don't want to sit in traffic Thursday Morning.

Just got home from the course. Top notch day all the way around. The awesome instruction really takes this course over the top. That and cruising around Laguna Seca in SLS's. :-) Highly recommend if anyone can go. Oh....and try really REALLY hard to win the autocross. I came in third .12 secs behind first (was the fastest during practice but couldn't put it together when it counted).

Also met a mbworld member for the first time in person, SCAMG13. It was a real pleasure to meet ya brotha and hang out.

Event was awesome. Can't believe they allow us out in SLS's on the track.
Personally I loved the skid pad in the 507, I believe they will be needing new tires very soon.

I just got back from Leguna Seca, I did the course this last Tuesday. Was a great time. If you are taking someone with you and like wine, the nearby wineries are worth the visit. My fiancé already wants to move to the other side of the country haha.

Did it today at Laguna Seca. What a memorable event, and very professionally done. I am totally hooked! To top it all off, I won the Autocross with 24.7.......

Another observation: All the C63s had the oil cooling upgrade installed. Go figure.....

Am now at the airport Marriott in San Francisco, back to Cincinnati tomorrow early.

Congratulations!!!! First prize is awesome! I did a 24.7 in practice. Just couldn't get it done when I needed it.

Did all of them have it? I did a taxi ride in the white C63 Black and the oil temp was up to 243 halfway through the lap. After the taxi lap, the instructor said he had to do a cool down.

Yes, they all had it. It is actually cleaner looking - you don't see the front oil cooler through the grille, because it is lying completely flat.

The Black Series has that set up as standard, and I don't think they have an issue. 243 degrees is not a problem, and having to give the cars a cool down after hot laps is good practice. Limp mode kicks in at around 285 degrees.
