Mercedes Benz C63 AMG good frist car?
OK.. my first post. (sorry for all the reading in advance)
I know that this has been covered hear before but i though what better way to get a definitive answer and opinions than actually asking it myself.
So ill give some background about me , I am absolutely mad about cars and not just for speed its an indescribable feeling that i have and its not always about speed but if i had to explain it i would end up with a series of books. So at the age of about 2 years old my dad bought me my first ever motorized 4 wheeled machine a 80cc 4-wheeler , from then on Ive never gone long without without being in control of one. As the years went on i moved my way up till in ended i ended up driving my dads BMW's while sitting on his lap, and in a car is when I'm at my happiest. at the age of 10 my dad started taking me every Sunday night for 2 hours or so to a local parking lot and teaching me how to handle cars from reversing to paralel parking (which i must say i enjoy doing) and everything in between... Oh BTW hes a mechanic and owns his own workshop so i had the privilege of him coming home almost every night in a different car and he would often let me drive them ( well under the legal age for driving lol) so ive had my fair share of driving strange and new cars. at about 15 my mom would let me drive her to the shops and to fetch stuff from friends (my dad saw this as her stealing me, i was just in it for driving) so Ive had more experience driving in traffic and working with some of the HUGE idiots on the road than most kids my ageand a few times taken my dads BMW's for a couple joy rides and have never run into trouble or caused an accident. So the day came when i was old enough to get my learners at 17 and was then legal to drive (with a licensed driver next me of course) not that this stopped my mom haha before i was 17 . so after i got it if someone left my property i would drive i even drove a few of my moms co-workers home after work and did a few long distance trips 700+ km and loved every second and NEVER bumped ,scratched or did any damage to any car , i love them too much regardless of type..
So now comes my question....
I have always had my sights set on either a BMW Audi or merc as my first car only for the reason that i grew up with them.. so i was pretty set on BMW till one morning a white Mercedes Benz C63 AMG stopped nexto us at a intersection and i fell in love with the sound that, that 6.2 liter 32 valve naturally aspirated engine makes. After that i was in a trance and had to own one
now hears what i would like to have some opinions on...
do you think (judging by what Ive told you) i would make a good 2008 c63 owner? BTW I'm 18 now and have gone for the full amg driving courses offered by Mercedes
I am aware of the costs involved and am able to pay for them all and buy the car with my own money and am very grateful for it + i have a German car specialist/ Mechanic on call 24 hours a day haha
but yeah any answers would be much appreciated
and any tips of suggestions too
thanks (sorry for the long read again)........

And your dad is a master euro car mechanic with his own shop?
Wouldn't he be the one to ask these questions?
At 18 you have cash to buy and maintain the car?
And been to the amg courses?
Lol

To the OP, this "man" named ingenieur loves to argue with people younger then him, he can't handle someone his own age. I'm 18 as well and got into numerous arguments with this "man."
Ingenieur(Arthur) I think its time to get the moderator again to control your premature aggression. Time for you to be banned for the 8th time....

I see you responded to his post
I did, no not a good first car for a 17 year old
Nevermind, you personally attacked me instead
Ever get that spoiler taped on?
Stalker
Btw should an 18 year be treated as an equal, a man, or a child?
I had guys in my platoon that were 18, they were men
They were not coddled and treated the same as an nco with 20 years in

What the hell did I just read?
A good first car for a 17 year old? Have you looked at Honda Civic's? I can't talk too much, I'm only 20, but I digress.
Please never again post in allcaps bold large font... This isn't a webpage from the late 90's.
Also, your dad taking customer cars home AND letting an underaged person drive them... How is he still in business? We surely don't do that.

He was driving in public at 10 and on public roads at 14
You are 20, and called his bs, he wasn't driving customers cars
from other posts you seem mature for your age
Or should I say you have basic common sense which seems to becoming rare amongst your demographic

I remember back when I was a Bimmerpost frequenter, there was this 16 year old stuck up kid who's dad bought him a E90 335i, and who would lie about things like being head salesmen at some dealership, or all sorts of other garbage. He went on for a long while, until some members were able to wiggle into his personal life (via his open sharing of social networking info) and exposed him, it was a real hoot.
