There is still a way to get the deal price according to Slickdeals.

Call Escort
Mention code CES15
Booth Number 1221

Apparently, those that attended CES in Vegas, got an appreciation card with the coupon code CES15.

Check their twitter page:

Last day at @intlCES ! Stop on by booth #1221 North Hall & get our CES appreciation card (trust us, it's worth the trip over..)

Redline is designed for long range and would probably go crazy with false alarms in city drivng, if youre doing lots of higway especially open road its tbe best

And to answer the other question someone on slickdeals called and its on everything including 9500ci

I picked up a Redline because I do a lot of rural highway driving.
Max2 is probably the best all-around detector. You won't get the same range as the Redline, but you'll get less falses in the city.

There are some pretty bad reviews on the Max2, but with any detector, you'll get some bias.

I do both. I sold my V1 because if false alarms I just wish passport had Concealed Display or something I dont want windsheild mount. I wanto be able to hardwire it and have a display in my ashtray custom done. Thats what I did with my Valentine 1

I have a 45 mile highway commute to work (90 mile round trip) average of 4-5 cops a day I see with radar guns. Yea iv kinda remembered where they are but sometimes dont pay attention, maybe I should be considering the redline? I see atleast three point and three already pulled over. Its crazy.

I'd get the RedLine.

You could always get both? At this price, you cant lose. Use one for a different car or re-sell it? See which one performs better.

Im switching from a v1 due to false alerts and im tired of trying to tune it to reduce them, im pretty sure the passport has a concealed display available and a hardwire what sucks is the hardwire kit isnt included

Not worth it. It doesn't jam many current laser guns. http://www.raletc.com/2014/09/2014-r...shootout-live/
