Busted with DadsC63 contraband
I got popped by the Maryland State Police for my smoked tail lights on I-95 and have the dreaded repair order ticket. I advised the troopers (plural) that they were at one time DadsC63's tails but it didn't seem to matter. Will have to swap out. Apparently a point of emphasis now in Maryland. May have avoided the stop if I was driving with my lights on. Maybe some advise here for those of you who are "smoked."

There is no concept of a tinted % for tails in Maryland.

22-227(f) COLOR OF LIGHTS ON REAR OF VEHICLE - All lighting devices and reflectors mounted on the rear
of any vehicle shall display or reflect a RED Color, except the Stoplight or Other Signal Device, which may be Red,
Amber or Yellow, except that the light illuminating the Registration Plate shall be
White and the light emitted by a Backup Lamp shall be White or Amber.

i had the same problem got pulled on 270 by state troopers no repair ticket but removed and went to stock, then switched to fl smoked led tails and never had a problem since $ is good and super bright
