C63 AMG - PP+
H&R Spring Kit Fitted

Having a set installed tomorrow at one of the UK's better tuning and performance centres, AMD.

Decided to not go the full KWV3 set up as unlike previous cars I am not tracking the 63 at all, only fast road euro trips across Germany and day to day stuff here in the UK, so whilst I am looking to improve the looks, stance a little, the investment in a full coilover I felt was a bit OTT given my current needs.

Couple of questions after doing a search in the forums.

My car is a late 2010 last of pre facelift and had the Performance Pack Plus factory option, half alcantara wheel, larger front calliper's, BHP increase and different springs?

So given the PP+ had the upgraded springs from the factory what did this actually mean in real terms, anyone know ?

Are they lower, better rate ?

Will I see a difference / feel a difference between the H&R set up that is going on and the factory PP ?

I am on 19" Multi Spokes running 12mm H&R spacers all round, 235 upfront and 265 rears ( currently on Vredstein Winters )

Having the usual do I go ahead and get them fitted, will I notice a real difference in ride height, ride.

Also been advised to throw on the BS geo settings after, I am having a proper 4 wheel lazer alignment done at the same time, been told the BS settings work well as a fast road setting with the H&R kit.

Cheers in advance chaps

2010 was the P31 package. There is no difference between non-P31 and P31 suspension. Only caliper color, the tune on the engine and some other cosmetic things. You will feel a difference with the springs. I love mine. Did you go with 17 mm rear spring pads or are you oeeping the stock 13s?

Perfect thanks bud

I am keeping the 13mm initially tomorrow, although it is going back to another specialist for a service end of next month, so will give it time to settle and see if it needs the 17mm I've seen mentioned, and if needed will get them installed at the service.

Did you have the 17mm on yours ?

Thanks for the reply Chris, will see how it looks after going on tomorrow and settled down in the next week or two, seems like mixed reports on whether the change is needed.

Guess it's just personal preference to some degree.
