Do headers and tune really gain close to 100rwhp? 100rwtq?

Is it possible to gain this much power with long tubes and a dyno tune? I'm assuming the deleted secondaries and deleted resonator is more so for the massive weight loss than actual power gains.

Also, do people normally run low 11s @122-125mph with these few mods alone?

Is the car pretty much maxed out after these without adding a blower or opening the motor?

Yes, it's possible to gain gain 100rwhp with headers and tune. It also depends on how "healthy" your car was dyno'd at.
Pre tune, Most non-P31/507 cars will dyno in at 360-370 rwhp stock.
Post tune, the car will be around 410-430 rwhp.
header/tune, cars are running in at 460-480 rwhp (some have run higher numbers).

That's how sellers are deriving that 100rwhp. Due to multiple variables, it's not an exact number, but more of an approximation.

There are a few more items that you can do to get more power, but it won't yield the gains that a header/tune combo will give you. With the exception to a few shots of nos.

Thanks guys.

Jeff-
Do you think a car with headers, dyno tune, deleted secondaries and deleted resonator is capable of low 11s @125+ or close to that? That would be my ultimate goal.

If you look on the sticky timeslip thread, it appears that with reputable long tubes, a good tune, high octane, and some sticky tires ... running deep into the 11 second range at those mph is attainable in the right hands.

My old car went 11.32 @ 125.3 with MBH headers (no cats), row boxes with K&N, OE Tune, drag radials. Race weight was 4,130lbs. It was an improvement of .6 sec ET and 7mph.
